Credibility notice

What's the basis for the credibility notice? Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 17:36, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

A) Claiming to be "one of the final protagonists of Christory" and B) the claims about the school shootings, which is what got people believing him to want to become one. Psycho (talk) 19:27, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
Perhaps it could specify his ego or delusions of grandeur. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 10:33, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

Successor

Where does the line about claiming to be a successor to Joshua Moon come from? Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 11:17, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Digging around a bit more I think it's based on this screenshot - https://kiwifarms.net/attachments/1628982332864-png.2446426/ - where he said in response to someone posting a meme with Null's image, "Who knows, I might become the next Null", but he then immediately followed up with "But let's be honest, there will never be another Joshua Conner Moon." So this isn't as definite as what the "He has also claimed himself to be a "successor"" line claims. It sounds more like he's joking. I think the line either needs to be rewritten or deleted. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 11:15, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
I mean, who knows if he was joking or not? Even if he was, I don't feel that him saying "Oh there will never be another Josh" really confirms he didn't actually mean that. But again, I kinda feel out of objectivity, we shouldn't really claim either way that he did or didn't, since we ultimately don't know what he actually meant by that. Psycho (talk) 11:43, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
I agree it's unclear. And I'm not seeing any proof that he tried to implement anything or elaborate on what he meant. The way the successor line is currently written implies something that's not really verified. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 13:40, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Naught's citation

When Naught edited the page, he claimed that WCT "joined the CWCville rebellion when he made friends with Smoky Chris another ween, the aspiring documentarians met in GenoSamuels discord server, Sean's Syria autism prominent even at that time." and posted this Twitter archive - https://archive.fo/o/Syrle/https://twitter.com/VilleCwc".

Is that citation relevant to Naught's claims? I don't see anything about Syria or WCT there. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 02:42, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

Anti-KF

The paragraph about WCT working with other anti-KF people doesn't seem relevant to the CWCki's scope - it's about KF and doesn't involve Chris. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 16:30, 18 November 2023 (EST)

That is true, but the CWCki isn't a stranger to having sections or even pages not dedicated to Chris, most notably with stuff revolving around Bella. Given the fact that WCT's anti-KF work seems to be due to his experiences with Chris, and the fact that he's appeared in the news for it, I figured it was notable enough to warrant a mention. Cereally (talk) 23:53, 18 November 2023 (EST)
The Bella coverage set a bad precedent in that regard, since a lot is off-topic for the CWCki. Years ago, after the Mr Smith medallion drama, an editor made a talk page topic about how he tried to keep the focus of the Mr Smith drama on Chris and how it gave insight to his character. I think the CWCki's coverage has drifted from that in recent years. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 03:05, 20 November 2023 (EST)

Infobox Image

I can't help but think that we should just use the image that he used for his YouTube channel, since that's the icon that was most associated with him, in the same vein that BlueSpike used the one avatar with the blue Sonic looking thing. Plus, the high school yearbook photo was basically a remnant of when people were going after WCT over rumors of being in cahoots with Bella, a massive witch hunt in its own right.

I'm also going to reiterate this, regardless of what kind of ego-stroking dickery this guy was involved in, that shouldn't dictate what can or cannot be used here, especially if it messes with the consistency of the rest of wiki, where the icons that certain people used are what's used as their infobox images.

I'm also not suggesting we delete the photo, just that it shouldn't be in the infobox. Psycho 🐧 (talk) 10:14, 20 February 2025 (EST)

What other pages use icons instead of faces? Bluespike's real face was never revealed so it makes sense for him to have his avatar in his info box.
Pardon my wording, but what I was saying is that it just feels a little weird to use his yearbook photo when no one else on this wiki does. (And it wasn't even discovered until much later during his involvement with CWC) To me, it just seems to make more sense to use the YouTube icon, since historically, that's what he's been most known for prior to the Incest stuff. We could probably put the yearbook photo somewhere else in the page. As for BlueSpike, technically that image hasn't been used in his infobox until much later, and in its place was the picture of "Max". Psycho 🐧 (talk) 00:28, 21 February 2025 (EST)
The source of the image doesn't really matter imo. It should just be a high quality image of his face taken some what recently. I am fine swapping it for a different pic of his face but I think an actual photo should always be used over an icon if possible. BaboonRancher23 (talk) 09:09, 21 February 2025 (EST)
