JenkinsJinkies began as another [[CWCki]] account, made by Chris to confirm that the antenna he had removed from his [[PS3]] wasn't a bug in [[PS3/How the PS3 is Hacked|"PS3/How the PS3 is Hacked"]], a bait-page made by [[Clyde]]. It was quickly discovered that JenkinsJinkies was Chris and the [[Trollin Train|appropriate action]] was taken soon afterwards. Clyde contacted Chris through JenkinsJinkies' [[User talk:JenkinsJinkies|talk page]] and it resulted in a short correspondence between the two.
Most of the sightings are initially posted to the [[r/ChrisChanSonichu|r/ChrisChanSonichu subreddit]] or to [[Twitter]]. Most sightings to date have involved Chris shopping. As of [[August 2023|August]], it has been confirmed that Chris once again has his [[Son-Chu|own car]]. On several occasions, Chris was seen accompanied by [[Flutter]], which has led to speculation that she might be his newest [[sweetheart]].


As JenkinsJinkies, Chris created the bizarre [[Coffee Place]] page, an article which originally started off as a reported sighting of Chris in [[Burger King]] but quickly devolved into a rant against [[Amanda]], a part-time [[Manajerk|manager]] who seemingly irked Chris by not treating himself, [[Bob]], and other [[Merried Seinor Comic|"seinors"]] with the adequate respect Chris thought she should. How JenkinsJinkies was able to know all this information about Amanda after one visit and why he would care if she mistreated Bob or not was never to be explained by Chris.
These factors combined, along with Chris's diminished internet presence, have caused sightings of Chris to remain much more common than they ever were before his arrest.


Chris believed playing a troll who was [[Chris and reality|legitimately]] afraid of Chris's wrath would totally convince [[Clyde Cash]] himself that he was legit. He also unsuccessfully tried to scare the trolls into thinking he was plotting to hunt them down, one by one. Several [[/cwc/|lesser]] trolls believed they were the first ones to realize that JenkinsJinkies was Chris and blew the whistle every now and again, but such leaks were uncommon and generally most trolls played along.

On 27 March 2023, Chris was released from jail, with the only explanation being "released by court order". Beginning on 1 May 2023, sightings of Chris were reported in various places around Chesterfield County, Virginia. From June onwards, Chris has been spotted in a number of locations around the state of Virginia, including Williamsburg, Lynchburg, Bedford and Ruckersville. In 2024 Chris began to be spotted in Finland and at conventions.

Most of the sightings are initially posted to the r/ChrisChanSonichu subreddit or to Twitter. Most sightings to date have involved Chris shopping. As of August, it has been confirmed that Chris once again has his own car. On several occasions, Chris was seen accompanied by Flutter, which has led to speculation that she might be his newest sweetheart.
