"Story of My Current Days" is an account of Chris's Love Quest first written in his Animal Crossing diary in October 2004. On 31 March 2005, Chris updated and renamed it "Story of My Love Quest Days". On 14 August 2006, he updated it again, changed the name back to "Story of My Current Days", and expanded it with additional material describing his relationships with Hanna and Megan Schroeder.

Chris announced on 22 October 2009 that it is "[T]o be MAJORLY UPDATED with most current events; NOT ALL OPINIONS expressed in the story are cannon to current opinions and views". Normally, "canon" only refers to the continuity of a work of fiction, and not to reality, but then, it's hard to sort those two out when you're dealing with Chris.
