Chris-chan (commonly referred to as EDF) was a subforum of the Encyclopedia Dramatica forums. Created such that the Talk page for the Chris-chan article could be used for its rightful purpose to discuss improving the article, it quickly became a hive of scum and villainy.
The user base primarily consisted of people who had recently discovered Chris-chan, people who could not figure how to go to CWCki without being redirected to meatspin from ED, and people who thought that it was still funny to troll Chris by calling him and asking if he likes Mudkipz or calling Bob as Boxxy or yelling JUULAAAY over the phone. As such, rumors such as Chris being evicted from his house have gained credence due to ED.
