Question about pronouns

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the reason Chris is referred to by male pronouns on the CWCki was to keep old articles consistent with new ones. That's what it says on the template at the top of this page, so I'm a bit confused as to why all articles about trans people are being changed to use their old pronouns. I haven't been on the site for a while. Has a policy been changed or something? 4CentUser (talk) 19:37, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

I was the one who wrote that template and changed the others to their natural pronouns as well. The other transsexuals in Chris's life thus far are weens or enablers, like Cherry or the Teen Troon Squad, or else fictional aliases like Jeff Ouzuo, and it would be strange to indulge them in this one point when we otherwise accept what they say with a grain of salt. Moreover it is, on the whole, more consistent simply to refer to all by their natural sex, instead of some (such as Chris) by their natural and others by their self-proclaimed. We should have a template for transgender people, to make it clear what they identify as. Otherwise it might be confusing. Like this article now refers to Stone with male pronouns, in the context of Stone trying to be Chris's sweetheart - which he was identifying as female for. Something like, "This person identifies as MTF transgender" (for Chris/Stone) and "This person identifies as FTM transgender (for Lukas of the Troon Squad/Nowacking). I would recommend making a guide on the preferred pronouns for each transgender people involved. I remember asking this question before. --Little Owl (talk) 23:57, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Yes, I was aware of that discussion, though no real conclusion had come of it other than confirming that we continue calling Chris male. (That was what had prompted me to make that protip.) Keeping the natural pronouns is more in line with the general habits used discussing these exceptional individuals on the Farms, and on the whole, staying with them would be more consistent a policy than evaluating how TRUE and HONEST each transsexual who happens to enter Chris's life is, especially because new parties might appear at any time. Alright, thanks for clarifying. That's what I thought was the reason, but it helps to know for sure. 4CentUser (talk) 21:25, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
