Thanks for the help!

I recently completed some work on my very own Asperchu fan page, thank you for guiding me in writing it! --ALBASPERCHU 20:53, 18 December 2009 (CEST)

Hey.

I made a better version of the Superstar template. Hope you like it. --USAJAP1 01:14, 25 October 2009 (CEST)

Fanart

Is it ok if I make a gallery page and just stick all the fanart on it? It might be better than having random unused images floating around and gives people the opportunity to quickly browse the thumbs of submitted artwork. What do you think? --Fuckingstupid 22:57, 4 October 2009 (CEST)

  • Fuck, never mind... category pages do that. I need to think before I speak. Disregard cocks etc. --Fuckingstupid 23:14, 4 October 2009 (CEST)

Unused images

Ok, sorry for the fuckup. --Fuckingstupid 10:38, 5 October 2009 (CEST)

I took care of it. --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 20:13, 8 October 2009 (CEST)

Re: You're doing a heckuva job

Cheers for that, Champthom. Actually, I had no idea what Blanca was supposed to look like (I was just going to do green skin/red hair) so that helps a lot. A complete videography is a good idea as well, actually; I'll see what I can do once I've finished off the List of Captain's Logs.--Ed Kelly 03:28, 13 October 2009 (CEST)

  • Oh snap, I didn't notice there's no pic of the "real" Blanca on there. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. --Champthom 04:05, 13 October 2009 (CEST)

Back to the Future

Could you take a look at the discussion page for Chris's Homemade Nintendo Power magazine? I think you should be able to clear something up for me and move stuff in the right direction. Llort 04:38, 18 October 2009 (CEST)

Question

Did you ever find any information out to my predicament? Thanks!--UncleBastard 06:00, 20 October 2009 (CEST)

  • If you mean about PVCC, Cogs said to try logging in. If you're still having problems, try asking Cogs, since she handles PVCC stuff. --Champthom 15:57, 20 October 2009 (CEST)
Ah excellent! It's working now! Thanks! The other question I've got is, are any of you currently logging Chris' PM's to people on his PS3 friends list? He's currently got a bee up his butt about getting his fans to write to every game developer and demand that they stop making 360 exclusives and make them PS3 instead as he's annoyed he paid $600 for a machine with no games on it. I can take screenshots if you want. --UncleBastard 09:30, 22 October 2009 (CEST)

Destin

I made a mistake and misread Destin's edits. I have already apologized to him. --Fuckingstupid 11:10, 24 October 2009 (CEST)

  • i blocked him. what a twat. this isn't ED, we're here to document, not to mock --cogsdev/vedsgoc 15:46, 24 October 2009 (CEST)
    • That seems overly harsh, cogs. The guy made one edit, and then had not one, not two, but three editors all start jumping down his throat over some totally unrelated edit made by some totally unrelated editor. If Destin thereafter came off as as something of a twat, consider that he was only defending his pride against the utterly unprovoked gangbang that was his welcome to CWCki. (It doesn't hurt to mention, either, that his one edit was actually documenting a fact related to Chris; it's just that - like so many facts related to any HFA manchild - it's inherently a mocking one.) I'd consider giving the poor guy a chance if I were you. Most editors tend to offer up increasingly useful edits over time... Llort 20:53, 24 October 2009 (CEST)

My Apologies

Hello, Champthom.

I suppose I owe you an apology, as well, for how I reacted to... certain accusations yesterday. My response was fairly uncalled-for, as was my ridiculing of your name. So... sorry about my harshness. I shouldn't have reacted to your claims so aggressively, now should I have called you and your compatriots out as failures, and, on top of all that, the name-jibe was an exceptionally low move on my part. You have my apologies for this mess that I made. Sorry. --RevengeOfTheDestinMan 20:59, 24 October 2009 (CEST)

  • It happens to the best of us and I accept your apology. Seriously, words of wisdom - don't fuck with cogs, to put it kindly, she has a different admining style than I do. --Champthom 00:04, 25 October 2009 (CEST)

Captain's Log, Stardate February 6th, 2009

Could you take it upon yourself to fix everything that Sonijew did regarding Captain's Log, Stardate February 6th, 2009 and the Vibrator destruction video? I swear that lately I spend almost as much time on this wiki answering his questions and monitoring his fuck-ups as I do making meaningful edits. He apparently has no idea how moving pages works or why it's not a good idea to wipe entire pages. Llort 16:06, 31 October 2009 (CET)

  • On a related note, is there any way that I could be given the power to move pages? Honestly, half the edits that I'd like to make to this wiki are move edits to fix the retarded and/or just-plain-wrong titles that other (usually newer) editors give to articles. It's a real pain in the ass to request moves instead, and it frankly discourages me from editing at all. Llort 16:09, 31 October 2009 (CET)
  • Fine, you're a jerkop, but you're the last person I'm promoting. Nothing against you, just that there's not too many people here and not everyone needs to be a jerkop, because it kinda defeats the purpose if everyone is a near-admin. --Champthom 18:18, 31 October 2009 (CET)
  • Thanks, Champthom. I'll use my new powers only for good! :3 Llort 19:16, 31 October 2009 (CET)

Need Help

Champton, This is Griffintown here. I would like some help. I haphazardly lost my password and I am locked outside. Can you send me a password reset request via E-Mail pretty please?

  • Did it, sent an e-mail to the one associated with your Redux account. --Champthom 20:29, 8 November 2009 (CET)
  • Thanks for the help, I am waiting for the E-Mail. Redux 21:30, 8 November 2009 (CET)
  • Looks like the reset dint reached me. Can you please resend it? Redux 00:06, 11 November 2009 (CET)
  • You sure you had a real e-mail associated with your account? I sent it to bother your Redux account and Griffintown as well. Otherwise, just IM me or PM me on #sonichu. --Champthom 01:47, 11 November 2009 (CET)

Video Find.

Hey Champ,

I found a video related to Chris, as well as a commentary on a YouTuber defending Chris-Chan. A YouTuber by the name of BigAlForever2K6 made this commentary on another YouTuber named Metalmouth44 defending Chris.

The Commentary

Part 2

Final Part

All 3 parts are now up. --UJ1985 04:17, 18 November 2009 (CET)

  • Long ago, when I watched my first Chris-chan video, all I could think of (aside from "Holy shit! He just admitted to 'recycling' his cum?") was "Wow - this guy reminds me of BigAl2K6." So, for Big Al to now reveal himself as a fellow Chris troll is simply surreal. Llort 04:50, 18 November 2009 (CET)
  • Well, Big Al was making a commentary about a white knight trying to defend Chrissy boy. I salute him standing up to Metalmouth (the Chris-Chan defender.) --UJ1985 05:05, 18 November 2009 (CET)

None of this is any funny. --Sonijew 09:30, 21 November 2009 (CET)

Chris linking

There really shouldn't be a need to link to the same thing more than once, maybe twice, unless the article's big honking huge. And I was seeing Chris linked about three times in the same freaking paragraph; that's way too much. Also, since Cogsdev seems asleep at the switch, would you kindly remove the (story) from My big 18th party (story) and move R.L.Stine to R.L. Stine? Thanks. Apostrophe 21:13, 3 December 2009 (CET)

  • Cogs already did that with the 18th party story. Yes, it is a bit much if it's the same paragraph, which warrants only only one reference.
  • Mucho grassy ass. Apostrophe 23:48, 3 December 2009 (CET)

Email

I noticed you tagged this page back on 12/2. No one's come to rescue it in 8 days; do you think that's long enough? If someone wanted it kept, they would've spoken up by now. Apostrophe 03:01, 11 December 2009 (CET)

  • I'm not sure if people are familiar with the page to notice it's being nominated to begin with. I'm still ambivalent, as it could be some potential but on the other hand it's rather redundant. --Champthom 08:07, 11 December 2009 (CET)

Mbox

What's up with Template:Mbox? It seems to be broken and unused. Apostrophe 08:04, 11 December 2009 (CET)

  • Well it looks like a message box (which we've mostly been using Template:Protip for) but if we could get it to work, it could be into a more appropriate way of conveying messages than the Pro Tip box. Also, if it's broken, fix it :p. --Champthom 08:07, 11 December 2009 (CET)

Red links

Okay. I was trying to consolidate categories since some of them were turning up red. The whole category tree needs an overhaul as there are many one-item categories, but that can wait. First, I'm working on a grammar and spelling task force. Apostrophe 19:12, 11 December 2009 (CET)

  • Also, I don't know the first thing about template coding, so I wouldn't be able to fix Mbox. Apostrophe 19:13, 11 December 2009 (CET)

Read it!

Thanks for the input! The main idea is to make pages like Sonichu 0 the 'root' for researching an issue, with synopsis, commentary, and easy access to the source materials. A "Read It!" link would be a great addition--I started hinting that way by putting the CWCipedia template at the top, and the CWC's Sonichu Site mirror link at the bottom... the question is, which one should be the "Read It" source? My personal feeling would lean towards CWCipedia; however, there are probably retcons on CWCipedia that don't exist in the older Sonichu Site mirror. Thoughts? Maybe revise the info box to "Sources" and include both? Or deprecate CWC's Sonichu Site? Dude 02:18, 12 December 2009 (CET)

  • One problem with the mirror site is that while it's the old pre-retcon comics, it doesn't have some of the newer ones, as it's circa November 2008.
I think ultimate, CWCki needs to mirror the comics, pre and post retcon. It can be the same sort of navigation as CWCipedia, except instead of two pages, mimicking a comic layout, we'd have two comic pages on the same page, juxaposing the original and retconned version of the page. That way, people can come to CWCki to reference the comic. Then we could easily link to it and have the interested reader be able to read the original and retconned version of the comic. Each page could also have notes on differences, pre and post retcon. Not sure if we have the manpower to do this now but it wouldn't be hard.
I guess for the interim, link to CWCipedia but we need to start working on a comic mirror project. --Champthom 07:48, 12 December 2009 (CET)

Page move

How do I move pages? Do I need to be a jerkop to do it? Apostrophe 22:37, 14 December 2009 (CET)

Curiosity (and Bad Puns) Killed teh Trist

I can't help but ask... what's the deal with the removal of the Fanta line from the CWC Cola page?

"I swear to almighty fucking God, if you people make a fucking Fanta joke outside of the Semen drink vid's page, you will be banned for general faggotry."

From the history of the page, you yourself added that line (in basic form) on April 29th. I hope I'm not sounding condescending, because I'm simply curious from the strange irony, but... might I ask what all the hubbub is about for your own edit? If I cannot ask, I'll just quietly fade back into the shadows. --Tristran 07:23, 15 December 2009 (CET)

  • I sure as hell did not add that line, at least not in it's current form. If I did, this was before it was overused. I mean, before it was kinda funny but now it's "LOL CHRIS DRINKS FANTA WITH HIS SEMEN" all over Krapple and it gets real old real fast. Anyways, while ex post facto laws are generally invalid in the Anglo-American context, I will self impose a one hour, voluntary ban on myself for my faggotry. --Champthom 07:51, 15 December 2009 (CET)

Oversized

I've added the Oversized template to two articles now - Homos and Chris and Sex - and you've removed it from both pages almost immediately, arguing that each article is a reasonable length given its importance and breadth. I agree that each topic is important and broad, but I don't see how those points automatically defeat my recommendations that editors remove redundancies and rambling prose from these pages. For example, does the Hatred of homos section of Homos really need over a dozen paragraphs and four pull quotes? Does the Pedophilia section of Chris and sex really need to include the same amount of content as the full Pedofork article? Llort 16:21, 16 December 2009 (CET)

  • I think the problem is that suggesting an article is "oversized" is suggesting that an article is too long, that it rambles on, goes off weird tangents, etc. For instance, I'd say honor roll is getting a bit oversized - it's far smaller than Chris and sex but it's really wordy in regards in discussing if Chris really was on honor roll. That article could use a bit of trimming.
First off, Hatred of homos, yes, I think the current section is justified. People frequently wonder why Chris hates homosexuals and I feel that this section does an adequate job detailing Chris's irrational hatred of homosexuality.
Second off, the pedophillia section. Now that I look at it, the pedophillia section is more or less a very wordy version of what's in the pedofork page. Solution? Write a brief summary of Chris and his views of pedophillia (i.e. he likes jailbait) and then direct readers to the main Pedofork article with "See also Pedofork."
I'll admit, I have a bit of a bias towards longer articles. Not so much quantity over quality, only that many of our longer articles also tend to be our better quality ones. I'd say that Homos and Excel Saga are probably the best articles on here because of their breadth given the topics, detail, and research. However, if you feel an article is too long, I just wish that you'd justify your reason on the page's discussion page so others have an idea what your concerns with the article are and start to improve the article.
tl;dr - people might differ in what constitutes an "oversized" article so please try to explain why you think the article is oversized. --Champthom 20:29, 16 December 2009 (CET)
