Megan and Chris first met during the summer of 2005 at the GAMe PLACe over a game of Yu-Gi-Oh!. The two apparently struck up a friendship of sorts.  They had an obvious connection from the start, since they're both [[Wikipedia:NEET|NEET]]s, idling their twenties away playing games marketed to [[card games|pre-teens]]. It only took [[Third date|a few games of cards]] and a handful of emails before Chris saw Megan as his [[sweetheart]]. The Financhu Crisis is a term coined by users from Kiwi Farms to describe the steep decline in the Chandler family's financial management beginning in early 2016. Signs of the Chandlers' worsening finances were made apparent by the increasing amounts of begging videos and donation requests on YouTube and Facebook.
