User talk:Schuzrum-dias
Hi there!
Welcome to CWCki! There's a lot to do around here because Chris never does anything himself. I hope you'll stay with us and make many improvements of your own!
- Before you start, be sure to read A Quick Guide to CWCki. This will guide you through the dos and don'ts of editing the world's most accurate wiki. Be especially sure to read this if you consider Anonymous to be legion or if you've just come over from ED. Everything you know is wrong.
- Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- If you're looking for things to do, check out the priority listing for things that need to be done, or join a project.
- If you haven't already, create a user page about yourself! If you do, we'll be able to know you better as a member of our community. Just be sure to check out the guidelines first.
- Questions? Please read the FAQ first. Later, you can ask in the Community Portal or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, join the live chat in our IRC channel or post a message on my talk page!
- Once again, welcome to CWCki!
Chris's anime list
Apparently this won't be allowed on the anime page, but I'll keep it up here, at least until I get the "not a forum" message slapped on here.
Obvious shows like Pokemon, Sonic, and Transformers are to be omitted.
Memories (I'm guessing he watched Otomo Katsuhiro's movie)
Read Or Die
Air TV
Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles
Kekko Kames (entire OVA series)
Nana
Elfen Lied
Gunslinger Girl
Shuffle!
Xam'd: Lost Memories
Bleach (bought first ep, may watch on AdultSwim)
Now, for programs broadcast on Adult Swim, which he has likely seen. List taken from Wikipedia, series he probably didn't watch won't be listed.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Kekkaishi (currently airing)
The Big O (since 2003, 1st season no longer shown, 2nd not currently showing; probably too noir and mecha for his tastes)
Cowboy Bebop (around for a while, popular enough to still be shown)
FLCL
Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. & 2nd GIG (too complex for him, but he probably would like Major Kusanagi's outfit)
InuYasha (think he's mentioned it, I'm sure most people here know of it)
Seirei no Moribito (English title Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit; may be too recent for him [2008-2009])
Astro Boy (VERY kid-friendly, bet he loved it)
Blood+ (very bloody, but he'd endure it for cute girls)
Code Geass
Death Note
Eureka Seven
Neon Genesis Evangelion (possible, seeing as how he watched End of Evangelion; probably didn't finish, or just didn't pay attention)
Paranoia Agent
Samurai Champloo
s-CRY-ed
Shin-chan (made into a gag dub; he apparently found the male nudity more offensive than the tasteless jokes)
Tenchi Muyo! (noted harem anime, named the Tenchi Solution, in which the lead effectively gets all the girls because he doesn't choose one)
Trigun
Trinity Blood (between the content and the art style, I'd bet he didn't watch much of this, if he watched it at all)
Witch Hunter Robin
Wolf's Rain
YuYu Hakusho
I'll get back to this after a while, resuming with the shows aired by Cartoon Network, maybe some other networks. I'll eventually get around to a bit of analysis on each show, figuring out whether or not he's seen it (and if so, instances of him ripping it off), whether or not he would watch it, and what the anime he watches says about him. --Schuzrum Dias 04:12, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- And I'll list Excel Saga, but I'll leave the deconstruction to its page. Shit's beautiful.
- He's referenced Inuyasha (and I remember him saying his favorite character was Kagome in a Mumble chat, though I forget which), so I guess he's seen some of the early episodes at the very least. He's also made My Little Ponies ripping off Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto, but my guess is that Megan might've had something to do with that (FMA doesn't really strike me as the kind of anime he'd like). --Lime 05:04, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- That's what I was thinking, he at least knows of a lot of these anime, whether by Megan or just by being on the internet, but most of them are a little too advanced for him, as compared to regular cartoons. For now I think I'll list it, but as I go through it'll probably be removed, as he might not have watched it, and as a popular anime, there's nothing behind why he might have watched it. Also, goddamn that is an awful reference. A dim bulb doesn't need a lampshade, and he's gone and put a lead one over it. --Schuzrum Dias 05:17, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm REALLY hoping he never watched Tenchi Muyo! (I highly doubt he did, since TM! was played early in Adult Swin's run and it was the Toonami edit to boot), but I do know another series he's watched: Steel Angel Kurumi. In one of the many pictures of his room, there's a poster of the three main heroines hanging up, one of the Mumble chats mentioned he watched it and there's some talk that the Samurai Pizza Bots character Excellina was named after a character introduced in some OVA not released in the states.--Blazer 05:23, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

- Oh god, that's exactly what I was thinking! I swear of he ever touches TM! (or Outlaw Star... orrr most of the stuff on Toonami from the late 90's to the early 00's, really), I will rip his nuts off. I will NOT let anything else from my childhood be corrupted by that manchild, damn it! ... *cough* Terribly sorry about that. --Lime 05:32, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Blazer, thanks for the tip about Kurumi. It's been ages since I've seen that, so I'll have to look around. And yeah, it pains me to think that he's even watched any of this myself. He's already ruined Gundam for me. I figured I'd just have some fun with the heartbreak, so I'm painting a model in the John Custom color scheme. :3 --Schuzrum Dias 05:35, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
