I'll have a go at transcribing this nonsense... Dkaien 22:09, 18 October 2010 (PDT)

That "You take the Good, you take the bad" crap is from Family Guy. I'm linking it to the Family Guy page. --Colonelslime 23:22, 18 October 2010 (PDT)

It's interesting how he switches scale through the talk. Not that anyone who pays attention to Chris would expect coherent thought. He starts off with "Presidential Candidate" and how he can improve the nation. He then scales down to a city level with the police departments before sharing his policies on interplanetary invasion before finally explaining how he'll police the internet, essentially the communication network of the world at large. In fine Chris fashion, he is candidate for Supreme Leader.Mupkids 06:06, 19 October 2010 (PDT)

The summary is way to long. We don't need all that, I think Chris's failure speaks for itself. It is not necessary to explain point by point why the video is stupid.--Švek 10:15, 19 October 2010 (PDT)

Notice

2.5% is half of 5%. Taxes aren't being cut by "a small fraction", they're being slashed in twain. In economic terms, that's effectively halving the government's income (I know they get money from other sources, but 5% of GDP is their largest contributor), which would destroy, among other things, the military, education, and scientific research in the US. Not a small thing at all. Freecell 03:52, 19 October 2010 (PDT)

  • Fuck, another victim of bad vision. I reread it and thought I got it right. Still, I think the point can be driven home more. Freecell 03:54, 19 October 2010 (PDT)
  • It gets even better when you think about it a bit. I was wondering if I should put something in the article about this, actually, but there's already enough explanatory bullshit in the opening that I wasn't sure (I welcome suggestions, of course). But anyway, Chris isn't talking about income tax there, he's talking about sales tax. State sales tax in Virginia right now is, you guessed it, five percent. He knows so little about how the government funds itself that he isn't even aware of the existence of income tax. Dkaien 03:12, 20 October 2010 (PDT)
  • This does show how he thinks though- or at least the extent of his ego. He either ignores or refuses to learn about things outside his personal experience. This is symbolized by his refusal to acknowledge neither the working populace nor income tax (something he doesn't have to pay.)--Derpiggish 17:41, 9 January 2011 (PST)

There's only one reason why Chris made this video

Obama has frozen Social Security checks until 2012, and many politicians are campaigning to cut SSA funding instead of raising taxes. There are far too many news links to sift through, so you can sift through them yourself. --Uhh… this is Riley Martin. O-Qua Tangin Wann 09:33, 19 October 2010 (PDT)

  • lol no. Chris is about as aware of how SS works as a chimp knows why food keeps being left in his cage at the zoo in the morning. CrassCrab 09:38, 19 October 2010 (PDT)

Should it be noted that Chris' plan to give all guns to the police is basically what Hitler and Stalin did?

  • This is Chris Chan we're talking about. Just look at his precious CWCville. If for some ungodly reason, Chris did wield political power on a small nation, he would rule as if he were an unholy amalgamation of King George III of England and Idi Amin. Part insane, part bloodthirsty, all tyrant. - user:Jerkop421 20-10-10.
  • Also, allowing guns but no bullets is just inviting people to make their own bullets. Guns are expensive, bullets are cheap. Either that or expect a dramatic rise in crossbow-related crime. That and a combination of halving taxes and funneling practically everything else into "soup hotels" and tugboat money would, of course, leave the United States roont entirely. EnsignDisposable 07:42, 20 October 2010 (PDT)
    • All the views he expresses in this video are ways to not only continue his lazy life, but to get more money out of his monthly tugboat. The State of Virginia collects $40.45 in taxes every month from his Social Security check every month, so halving that would give him an extra $20.22 for spending money. --Uhh… this is Riley Martin. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I KEEP MY EYES OFF THE CWCKI FOR ONE SECOND. Clydec 01:19, 24 October 2010 (PDT)

Reaction shots.

Every once in a while is fine, like perhaps when Chris is addressing that person, but I really think we need to stop adding reaction shots from somebody every time Chris makes a video. Graduon4eva 13:19, 25 October 2010 (PDT)

Links Added to "Internet Surveillance" Point

If someone wants to remove the link to the "Big Brother" article, that's fine. However, please keep the Macon Phillips link - the very last part of that section of the "Macon Phillips - Political Career" really shows Chrissy's hypocrisy. To those who don't know, Phillips headed "flag@whitehouse.gov" under President Obama. This was, essentially, a snitching program. Any conflicting information heard about the Health Care bill that the Democrats were trying to pass would be sent along with the person's name, address and other details to this e-mail address. It was quickly shut down, but provides an excellent example of censorship by Obama's administration - this censorship would be approved of by Chris, and so, Chris would side with Obama on a political matter. KataclysmKat 22:38, 19 March 2011 (PST)

Chris doesn't care about censorship. All be cares about is what makes Chris feel good in the short term (as in, one hour or one day). That's as far as his thought process goes. If Chris had such an inbox, it would go unread forever unless something forced him to (Aka he would only do it to stop someone yelling at him). I'd like to think the CWCki is politically neutral, but the actual link doesn't seem to be pushing much of a political agenda at this stage. --Ronichu 15:42, 20 March 2011 (PDT)
Side thought... all appearances aside, Chris really isn't a dictator in the sense that he wants to rule countries- he just wants immediate and very short term results on anything he thinks about. He doesn't understand that his repeated calls for an end to trolling (by law, and with insane penalties) conflict with him trolling Alec, because there is no benefit to him if Alec is safe online or not. His entire life is based around the philosophy of long term loss, short term gain. --Ronichu 15:42, 20 March 2011 (PDT)
I think Chris cares about censorship when it serves him, which it would in his mythical fairy land where no one can criticize him. The only time he ever cares about anything is when it can serve him. I thought it was an interesting juxtaposition so I put it in - he disapproves of Obama, yet would take similar actions as Obama to silence anyone who disagrees with him. Fan Video

I removed the fan video, i believe we are against fan videos here. at least thats what i was told over and over.. if im wrong please reverse this action slimz - ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐ 12:36, 14 February 2012 (PST)

Fan videos are fine, it's just that some fan videos are terrible or something. I don't really know how that works myself, but fan videos in general definitely are allowed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freecell (talkcontribs) 13:13, 14 February 2012 (PST)
Shit has to be funny is usually a good rule. Some fan videos are only thought to be amusing by their creator. I generally see derivative works based on Chris videos as acceptable - adding animation and sound etc. Recording yourself pretending to be Chris, or trying to communicate with Chris is a no no. Don't confuse fan videos for fan art, which is generally verboten unless of good quality and is put to use in an article or two. --Anonymax 04:34, 15 February 2012 (PST)
