In August 2017, Chris drove all the way to Baltimore, Maryland, to visit the convention, staying for the full three days. While he was there, Chris took many pictures with some of the show's staff, as well as other fans. He also drew a new MLP/Sonichu drawing during his stay.

Since his discovery on the Internet through 2017, Chris has been quite vocal about his political views. He was once a moderate and then leaned left. Following his shift in gender identity from 2011 onward, he moved further left. His progressing support of the LGBT+ community may have been why he became more vocal about politics.
