On January 10, 2014, [[14 Branchland Court]], [[Ruckersville, VA|Ruckersville]], Virginia was devastated by an early morning fire. Chris first mentioned it on [[Facebook]] and this was confirmed later that day when a local TV news broadcast gave a brief report on the incident.

According to Chris, the fire started in the downstairs bathroom, and was of an [[Electric Hedgehog Pokémon|electrical]] nature; most likely due to faulty wiring or from the short-circuiting of some electrical device. Chris, soon after making the initial posts, left a comment on the Facebook page of [[Wikipedia:Keurig|Keurig]] Coffee and Brewers, blaming the coffee brewer's faulty wiring for having "sparked my power socket" and starting the blaze.
 
Why Chris was brewing coffee at 2 a.m. in the bathroom is not yet known, but it is likely due to his "[[biological clock]]" and the piles of junk cluttering his kitchen. It is worth noting that in [[Tour of Chris's House II|Chris' recent video tour of his home]], coffee cups are spotted around his bathroom sink, suggesting that the bathroom has become the primary source of water.

Central Virginia Regional Jail (or as Chris once called it, "this Jail of Fail") serves five largely rural counties in central Virginia, including Greene County. It houses both male and female inmates. Chris was sent to the jail following incestuous acts on his mother where he was held without bond from 2 August 2021 through 28 February 2022 - when he was transferred to Western State Hospital - and again from 3 May 2022 until he was released from custody on 27 March 2023. It is located about 21 miles (33 km) away from 14 Branchland Court.
