As in the case of YouTube and Wikipedia, Chris really doesn't understand the point of the website; deviantART doesn't call itself an "art community" for no reason. Chris used deviantART only to post his works and fan art (without attribution); deviantART would have made it relatively painless to truly interact with his "fans." Chris, however, thinks that "interaction" means he posts his original and true creations and others stay put. In other words, he thinks deviantART is a place to dump images, and the whole "community" aspect is just too grandiose to comprehend.

One of the big strengths of deviantART is that people can comment on the pictures, and allowing comments to be posted is one of the unwritten common-sense rules of the site. Having comments disabled or seeing a bunch of "Hidden by owner" entries is often a sign of an artist with community relations issues (read: "soon to be featured in Encyclopedia Dramatica"). Chris systematically disabled comments in all of his submissions, possibly because he knows that nothing good could come out of it, but also possibly because this is his idea of keeping in touch with his fans.

This account will mainly be used to get in touch with choice Fan Artists.
~Cwcipedia DA journal, on why the comments are disabled in all of Chris's pictures

deviantART is a large online art community where artists can host their artwork, and receive comments and critique from fellow artists and art appreciators.

In the trolling world, deviantArt is notoriously known as a den for Sonic recolors so it's no surprise that Chris became a member under these accounts:

 • Cwcipedia — registered some time before CWCipedia's downtime, and Chris used it as his primary breathing hole over the long outage. The account was banned in 28 August 2009 for evasion of the previous ban and posting erotic artwork featuring underage characters (which is to say, Rosechu's washing machine pic from Episode 20 — it was actually deleted before the account was banned completely).

As in the case of YouTube and Wikipedia, Chris really doesn't understand the point of the website; deviantART doesn't call itself an "art community" for no reason. Chris used deviantART only to post his works and fan art (without attribution, of course); deviantART would have made it relatively painless to truly interact with his "fans." Chris, however, thinks that "interaction" means he posts his original and true creations and others stay put.

In CWCipedia's Communities page, Chris lists SonichuFanclub as an officially sanctioned Sonichu dA community. All signs point out that the community is most certainly run by the True and Loyal Fanbase *winkwinknudgenudgesaynomore*.
