- July 3 - Christian launches his first website. It is Pokémon-themed.
- September - Christian writes his own myth - "How the Pokemon came into Our Poke Balls". According to Christian, his English teacher thought it was great.[13]
- October 13 - Christian launches the news section on his pokémon site.
- October 16 - Christian is featured in PokéNews. Dressed up as Ash.[14]
- October 30 - Christian publishes "How the Pokemon came into Our Poke Balls" on his pokémon site.[15]
