Fun Facts

DarkWestern has added a few missing words from the Shojo Beat article containing one of Chris' letters.

DarkWestern has physical copies of every book/magazine published which contained an article Chris sent in.

DarkWestern's artist girlfriend also made him a Sonichu medallion despite how autistic such a request was.

DarkWestern foolishly gave Chris $100 for Lego's and Transformers by purchasing an autograph.

DarkWestern has over 10 years on YouTube, and barely 1,500 followers.

Sprung Article Quest

The current mission is to find the exact issue, and page of the Nintendo Power containing Chris' letter regarding Sprung. It's been narrowed down to the March/April 2004 issues of of Nintendo Power Magazine, and the physical copies are in the mail. It is suspected that it may be in a later issue than March/April 2004, possibly 2005...

This is all we have so far. Even this very CWCki has not the exact origins of the article.

Update 5/9/2019

As it turns out, neither issue of Nintendo Power [ 178-179 ] which were purchased on eBay contain the Sprung article which eludes and haunts DW. There has been so much research done, and the Wayback Machine has been useful for finding the source of this article. DW is now fairly convinced that the article is on Nintendo Power issue 190, but is broke AF right now, and gets paid tomorrow, and issue 190 is on the shopping list...

Update 5/14/2019

The Sprung article quest is finally over! It began so long before this user page was created. Sonichu's News Dash Issue #8 has all but confirmed any suspicions regarding the Sprung article's exact location. DW is awaiting a copy of 190 in the mail to 'super confirm' it. Once it arrives in the mail, and DW can 'super confirm' that everything is correct, DW plans to make micro-edits to the articles regarding Sprung which have incorrect information.

Here is the picture with Chris Chan's handwriting specifying the year, month, issue, page, and correcting Nintendo Power writers of where his location is.
