This is a scratchpad for a work in progress. I'm currently a minor contributor but do not personally know the main artist its writers, or other contributors.

In the wake of the April 24th CWCipedia vandalizations, some forummers on Asperpedia decided that the version of Sonichu 11 was good, but they could do better. Much better, in fact, as the whole premise behind their new project would be to ultimately reshape the Sonichu continuity into a respectable, enjoyable comic.

when i showed sonichu to a friend, he said that the idea and the story werent' bad, its was just that...well its just chris's fault.

Sonichu is both figuratively and literally Chris's child, and if we could prove to be better parents than Chris, that could destroy him

Collaberation on the new Sonichu 11 began on this thread on April 27th; shortly thereafter, users were already brainstorming ideas for a reimagined Sonichu. The basic premise is that all previous Sonichu comics are to be considered cannon, but the new comic would add a significant twist: The Idiot Ball.

This magical plot device, borrowed from TV Tropes, is what causes the Sonichu characters to be the Naive jerks that they are. When Count Plot Cohesion deactivates it, the characters are freed from its effects and come to terms with the various atrocities they have committed, reevaluate their past relationships, and begin to search themselves for personalities that they previously were sorely lacking. Furthermore, they see Chris for the lunatic that he is, and depose him.

The difficult part was creating genuine personalities, where the original characters had none, in a convincing and coherent way. One suggestion followed on popular troll theory that Bubbles is an airhead. After being liberated from the idiot ball, she is confirmed to have a low IQ, but decides to go to Law School anyway to improve herself and help undo the damage of the mayor's kangaroo courts.
