Seriously, it's hell, but like the Mumble chats, there be gold in them hills and a valuable source of info and transcribing it would allow it to easily be cited. --[[User:Champthom|Champthom]] 17:58, 10 March 2009 (CET)

*I've been going over some of these, and I think a good temporary measure would be to summarize the Mumble/PSN logs in roughly ten minute increments.  For instance, on an article about a 2 hour chat, it'd list 1:22:00-1:34:00 as containing a conversation about homos or Sarah May being Jewish or whatever.  That way you can just go straight to the part you want without having to sift through the entire thing.[[User:Dethchemist77|Dethchemist77]] 02:17, 12 March 2009 (CET)

Revision as of 21:17, 11 March 2009

Seeing as how this is quite knew, I'll gladly make the logo for it. Just give me some specifications on how you want it to look. --Anonymous 02:48, 26 January 2009 (CET)

  • anything 135*135px in size. if we get a few, we should have a rotating script. maybe one for each character. --cogsdev/vedsgoc 15:57, 27 January 2009 (CET)
    • That being said, I'll start working on a few other small images that could work with a rotator script. ;) --Anonymous 12:01, 29 January 2009 (CET)

Uploading Images

How the hell do you do it here? I'm use to Wikipedia where there's some special way to do it. --Champthom 03:00, 26 January 2009 (CET) http://cogsdev.110mb.com/cwcki/index.php/Special:Upload there's a link to it in the toolbox --cogsdev/vedsgoc 15:58, 27 January 2009 (CET)

Cleanup

Articles need to be categorized. I've made up a list of categories to be created to make this wiki moar organized. If you have any more suggestions for categories or sub-categories, plz let me know. --Anonymous 08:17, 26 January 2009 (CET)

Categories-----

  • Comics (anything pertaining to the Sonichu comics)
    • Sonichu characters (subcategory for characters in the comic)
  • People (People IRL)
    • Chandler family (subcat for CWC & family)
  • Trolls (durr)
  • Websites (sites both real and fake involved in the CWC saga)
  • Places (IRL locations)
  • Trolling (troll exploits)
  • CWC Chronicles (emails, Megan Saga, etc.)

Wanted Pages

One thing I'd like if we could copy the IRC chat logs, transcripts of the Skype chats, and his videos here so we have a one stop resource for that sort of thing. --Champthom 07:26, 27 January 2009 (CET)

  • this is a very good idea. i'll have a go at this later. --cogsdev/vedsgoc 15:54, 27 January 2009 (CET)

Quote box

Could someone make a template for quotes from Chris. so I could just type like {{ChrisQuote|Text here|Sauce}} to get it to say it's from Chris and the source? --Champthom 07:47, 27 January 2009 (CET)

New Name Suggestions

I read on the old CWC wiki you were looking for possible new names, what about CWCipedia? (Quick-e-pedia)?--UncleBastard 23:04, 7 February 2009 (CET)

  • Personaly, I like CWCki (an actually clever pun with the CWC initials, as it's pronounced "Quick-ee"). --Champthom 06:38, 10 February 2009 (CET)

Artistic Depictions

Someone did an awesome artistic depiction of Chris's Fapcup and I'd love to see more stuff like that, mostly for people who don't have images of, like Chloe, Clyde Cash (in police sketch format, ideally), etc. --Champthom 06:38, 10 February 2009 (CET)

Chronology

Hey gais. Im thinking of putting the Chris-Chan Chronology I have been working on on PVCC on the wiki. I thought it would be pretty cool to orden it year by year, like on Wipedia, so that if you search for 2003, you get all the events in Chris' life for 2003. I hop you guys liek this idea. If you have any criticism or objections, let me know. It might take a while before I have time to start. RachmaninovDESU 04:12, 16 February 2009 (CET)

  • I liek that idea. I will help add citations and stuff. Megapicklezord 04:26, 16 February 2009 (CET)
  • Yeah, that would make things a lot easier. Best advice I can give is to take advantage of his site. Chris's obsession with datestamping his own fail has made him a valuable resource for historians. Also, for humor's sake, I think it'd be neat if fictional events were listed on the same chronology. For example, Chris wrote in #8 that his father founded CWCville in 1982, and that all the hedgehogs were born in 1987-'88. Dethchemist77 04:32, 16 February 2009 (CET)
  • I uploaded a sample page, 2007. It would be a good idea to add citations, although that's going to take a lot of work. I'll start doing it slowly, and I might finish in a year or so. ^^ I also still need to add a lot of the blue links, and maybe linking to Christian or Chris everytime is a little to much, but that's details. RachmaninovDESU 04:40, 16 February 2009 (CET)
    • Why not just make one page for the whole chronology? The page might get too big, but you could use expansion tags to make scrolling easier. Megapicklezord 04:46, 16 February 2009 (CET)
      • I could do that too, It doesn't really matter to me, although that would mean it makes linking to the individual years quite difficult. I'll let you guys decide, I don't really have much time untill wednesday anyway... (so make sure I know what to do by then^^). Also, I havent edited a wiki for a while, so I might need a refreshing for all those complicated codes. RachmaninovDESU 04:56, 16 February 2009 (CET)
        • Putting equals signs around text creates subsections and those subsections can have redirect pages for them. Did that make any sense? I don't remember the code for expanding though. Megapicklezord 05:12, 16 February 2009 (CET)
          • It made some sense, but that would mean creating all the pages seperately, and then having one large redirect-page with links to the seperate years on it, so all the dates wouldn't be on 1 page... I'll try to figure out if I can do stuff with the expansion things. I could also give decennia without much happening their own page (like the eighties and the nineties), but expecially years like 2008 (and even 2009 allready) are so long that they could easily do with their own article. But nvm, we'll figure it out. I just updated the 2007 article with all the blue links. I also want to make the dates that have a corresponing "stardate" video to redirect to the article of that video. That's pretty awsum, eh. ^^ RachmaninovDESU 05:27, 16 February 2009 (CET)
          • Oh, someone actually made a Template:Chronology. That's pretty helpfull!

Mumble Archive Project

This would actually require the work of those of us with A LOT of free time but I'd like to take the archived Mumble chats we have and transcribe them into wiki form. There's a lot of gold in them and it'd serve as valuable source here. Though first, I need to find out where they're all being kept again =/. --Champthom 08:35, 2 March 2009 (CET)

Chloe

What happened to the page informing about chloe that was on the main page?

  • It got deleted because it's unverifiable and not really a good source to use. --Champthom 04:01, 4 March 2009 (CET)

PSN chat archive project

I've started to Chris's PSN chats with Julie. The audio is available on The Miscreants webpage. My suggestion is:
1. Stick a microphone next to a speaker.
2. Use Microsoft speech recognition to type out the entire chat in it's entirety.
3. Go through and edit it accordingly.

Seriously, it's hell, but like the Mumble chats, there be gold in them hills and a valuable source of info and transcribing it would allow it to easily be cited. --Champthom 17:58, 10 March 2009 (CET)
