The most important tool of Chris is his computer. His window to the world, Chris uses it to connect with his fans and to espouse his way of life. Needless to say, just like everything else he has, he ruins it in some way.

Type of Computer and Equipment

Currently, Chris owns a HP Pavilion desktop computer, situated in the Chandler house kitchen. The computer runs Windows XP.[1] He apparently also owns a scanner and a printer (or perhaps a scanner/printer combo), allowing him to scan comic pages and print artwork. He also has a connection to the internet, but it can be assumed that it's stronger than Dial-up since he's been able to work Mumble chats.

The computer has a version of PhotoShop installed on it, but Chris uses it mostly to type in text bubbles in his comics or to alter the truth.

Despite what he has, the computer is seemingly on its last legs. Twice in recent history, Chris has complained that power outages have taken out the computer, forcing him to restore it constantly. He gives this reasoning to Alec Benson Leary as to why he hasn't posted new pages.

When called out by Alec due to him not buying a new computer, Chris gives the tired excuse that he doesn't have the money. That is a lie - most low-end computers, powerful enough to just run current systems, tend to be no more than a couple hundred dollars. More than enough for Chris and his money, though he has better things to buy.

Chris and Net Etiquette

Main articles: Wikipedia, CWCipedia, YouTube, and Encyclopedia Dramatica

Even though Chris has been on the internet for quite awhile, Chris has not yet mastered good Net etiquette, and he probably never will. Scorned by Encyclopedia Dramatica, Chris has gone all out in trying to spread his version of the truth. To do so, Chris will go all out and use websites NOT as means to help others, but help himself. Even worse, when given his own website, he seems to claim that it is he, not the Sysop, who has control over the site and thus, he must be in the know for everything.

Because of this attitude, Chris has been kicked out of just about everywhere. YouTube has shut down one of his accounts and Wikipedia has made it that he can never apply his name onto the site again.
