Pmurt is a CWC-ism for 2016 Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump. He pronounces it Murt, based on his belief that the P is silent when the name is said backwards[1].
This CWC-ism comes from a Facebook comment from 25 September (partially quoted above), in which Chris says that "Trump spelled backwards is "Pmurt", which rhymes with hurt, and that Trump would badly "Pmurt" the US if elected."
Spelling Trump’s name backwards has twofold meanings. Names are particularly sacred to Chris[2][3][4]; therefore, in Chris's eyes, mocking someone's name severely degrades the person. Chris has historically believed that saying anything backwards induces subliminal stimuli [5] — which he believe are enormously influential on the psyche and the physical body[6]. Chris may believe using Trump's name backwards, in a negative context, may effectively alter his viewers perception of him. Beyond the random-access humor, Chris could possibly regard his rendition of Trump’s name to be a serious presidential objection for everyone to consider.
He continued using this backwards name in subsequent Facebook posts and videos.
Chris is opposed to Pmurt becoming President, saying:
- He is an "immature brat who mocks everyone."
- He "Wants the immigrants to build their own "Keep Out" wall so [he] would kick them all out."
- He "hates our kind." [LGBTQ]
- He "was a one-track tape, repeating himself on pat deeds that he was "proud"(?) of."
- He has "ideals of cutting finances from all of the more important resources the country needs in communities and feeding the industries from the National Debt. And he acted against the immigrants in that topic as well; they have to work too, you know."
Chris has also cited an episode of The Simpsons as one of his major sources for being anti-Pmurt[7].
His hatred of Pmurt is so great that he made two videos of himself role-playing acts of violence on Pmurt with Transformers and My Little Pony toys.[8][9]
Interestingly, like Pmurt, Chris has been accused of sexual harrassment.
