This news shocked the internet, with #ChrisChan and #CHRISCHANDIDWHAT trending on [[Twitter]], and the story even [[Chris in the media#Fox News' Tucker Carlson Tonight|reached mainstream news networks]], introducing Chris to a whole new audience who may have otherwise been largely unaware of his existence. Hundreds across the world called the police, leading to Chris being evicted from his home, [[Null DMs#Chris takes money from Barb|and having to steal $750 from Barb]] to [[Toys|stay at a motel]] on the outskirts of [[Chris's homes#Chesterfield County|Richmond, Virginia]], until he was finally arrested by officers of the Henrico County Police Department on 1 [[August 2021]].
Originally, Chris was determined to see Sonichu made into a game, but based on his interactions during [[Miyamoto Saga]] and in ''[[The Sonichu Chronicles]]'', Chris seems more determined to make his own game where it's all about him and his failure to adjust to adult life... Which, ironically, would be befitting as an adaptation of [[Sonichu (comic)|his comic]], which is about himself more than it is the title character.
