Butthurt that Liquid had an actual talent, Solid recognized that the clear solution was to formalize the contest, thus eliminating such dirty tricks.

Years later, fans would recreate the story of the challenge as a mod to the ever-popular online rhythm game ''{{w|Friday Night Funkin'}}''. Chris would eventually create his own spiritual successor after his extended stint in jail, [[AI Chris Chan Vs Christ Chan|challenging the vocals of an artificial intelligence version of his voice that could sing popular songs instead of Liquid Chris]].

Gay 4 Sonichu is the Internet's first web forum for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Sonichu fans. Unsurprisingly, the message board was an attempt to bait Chris into a response by trolls, which Chris fell for hook, line, and sinker.

Reilly, PhD.) it had a long term impact.
