• 1 August - Chris begins pledging to KittenBell, a porn account by DoopieDoOver. He also tweets on the subjects of his prescription medication, the friend zone, his belief in a cartoon reality and his list of gal-pals for #NationalGirlfriendDay, which includes Doopie. Later, Doopie shoots him down, saying "You don't know me, Christine," then offers a refund of his pledges so he won't resort to begging for grocery money, which he declines, and informs him he is being creepy with his personal emails to her.
• 31 July - Pages 36-43 of Sonichu 12 are released.
• 26 July - Chris tweets regarding Donald Trump's removal of trans people from the US military.
• 25 July - Sonichu 12 pages 27-35 are uploaded.
• 25 July - It's discovered that Chris is being sued by Mariner Finance for unpaid debt. The company filed the case on 11 July, which is set to begin on 24 August.
• 23 July - A delay on new pages is announced, and Chris explains why he doesn't intend to reboot Sonichu.
• 22 July - After a month without begging, due to a boost in Patreon funds after Chris revived the Sonichu comic, he begs for $50. He had given that amount to DoopieDoOver earlier that month for a commissioned profile picture and a pledge on her Patreon.
