On 27 [[March 2023]], [[Chris]] was [[Jail Saga#Bonded out or Released by court order|released from jail]], with the only explanation being ''"released by court order"''. Beginning on 1 [[May 2023]], '''sightings of Chris''' were reported in various places around {{w|Chesterfield County, Virginia}}. From [[June 2023|June]] onwards, Chris has been spotted in a number of locations around the state of Virginia, including {{w|Williamsburg, Virginia|Williamsburg}}, {{w|Lynchburg, Virginia|Lynchburg}}, {{w|Bedford, Virginia|Bedford}} and [[Ruckersville]]. In [[2024]] Chris began to be spotted in [[Finland]] and at [[conventions]].


'''BronyCon 2019''' was the final iteration of the annual convention for fans of ''[[My Little Pony]]''. The convention took place between 1 and 4 August 2019 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Unfortunately for Chris, despite [[My Little Pony Protests|his best efforts to counter the inevitable]], both his favorite animated series and his favorite convention would draw to a close in such a short timespan.

On several occasions, Chris was seen accompanied by [[Flutter]], which has led to speculation that she might be his newest [[sweetheart]].


Most notably at this convention, Chris discovered [[Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic Folder]], a fan-made shipping card game. Once the convention was over, he would begin posting his own fan-made cards on [[Twitter]] – becoming the successor of his [[List of cards from The Wall of Originals#Custom Pokémon Cards|custom Pokémon cards]] and [[Yu-Gi-Oh!#Custom Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards|Yu-Gi-Oh! cards]].
These factors combined, along with Chris's diminished internet presence, have caused sightings of Chris to remain much more common than they ever were before his arrest.

On 27 March 2023, Chris was released from jail, with the only explanation being "released by court order". Beginning on 1 May 2023, sightings of Chris were reported in various places around Chesterfield County, Virginia. From June onwards, Chris has been spotted in a number of locations around the state of Virginia, including Williamsburg, Lynchburg, Bedford and Ruckersville. In 2024 Chris began to be spotted in Finland and at conventions.
