Unfortunately for Chris, despite [[My Little Pony Protests|his best efforts to counter the inevitable]], both his favorite animated series and his favorite convention would draw to a close in such a short timespan.
In June 2017, [[Christian Weston Chandler|Chris]] began to take his [[Patreon]] account more seriously and recommenced drawing Sonichu comic pages. He has gotten several hundred dollars per month for his efforts, and payments continued until 2 August 2021, when his Patreon account was shut down. As a result, begging had temporarily subsided.
