The second album by Christian and the Hedgehog Boys, Christian's virtual band, because talking over music, changing existing lyrics so they're all about you, and playing Guitar Hero is EXACTLY like being in a real band.
Background
After a four year hiatus, Christian and the Hedgehog Boys reunited to produce another album and subjected the world to yet another album of Chris talking over the greatest hits of the 80s, 90s, and today.
Noticeable is the replacement of Wild Sonichu for Sonic and Punchy Sonichu for Shadow. While a newfag would believe Chris forgot that they were in the band, a true Christian and the Hedgehog Boys fan will know this was due to Sonic leaving the band due to artistic differences and to pursue a solo career, along with Shadow's untimely death from a cocaine overdose.
This is notable as this is the first musical appearance where Wild departs from his Sit 'n Spin background.
Tracks
- (Clyde's) Trollsta's Paradise (to the tune of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise)
- CWC Like a Virgin (to the tune of Madonna's "Like a Virgin")
- Feel Our Love At Play (to the tune of Berlin's "Take My Breath Away")
- I Gotta Make My Move (to the tune of Rod Stewart's "If You Want My Body")
- I'll Never Leave You, Ivy (to the tune of Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights")
- Lovin' You (to the tune of Minnie Riperton's "Lovin' You")
- Paradise By The Seashore Light (Crass and Champ's Thang Undersea) (to the tune of Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light")
- Punchy and Layla's Dance In The Dark (to the tune of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark")
- I'm Sexy For My Ivy (to the tune of Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack")
Reception
While critics applauded Christian for upgrading the quality of the music he talks over, the album was an absolute bust, even in Molvanîa where Chris is lauded as a national pop icon.
Fans of Wild Sonichu's mastery of the Sit 'n Spin were disappointed to hear Wild being forced to play the inferior guitar, which may have affected the quality of his musical contributions. Fans also complained that Punchy could not live up to the legacy of Shadow.
