Just like someone we know. |
Aqua Teen Hunger Force is an animated series on Adult Swim that later gained a cult following. It features low-budget bad animation, so it comes as no surprise to see that Chris likes it, even if he probably doesn't get many of the jokes.
Chris wasn't always a fan of the series. In a 2005 post on the Cartoon Network forums, he said that he enjoyed all of Adult Swim's shows "except ATHF", although he didn't explain why. He later started to like it, including the bizarre Old Time Rock and Roll on Shredwud music video. However, he seems to have gone off it around 2010 according to Vivian Gee E-Mails, comparing its decline to Alec's "Blood and Gore".
Other references:
- Chris created the "CWC's Aqua Teen Hunger Force-Styled Burgertime Level" in LittleBigPlanet, based on ATHF and the BurgerTime arcade game.
- The "Interfection" episode is heard playing during the CWC is Angry video.
- He owns the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am video game. According to the Cole Smithey E-mails, he also owns the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters DVD.
- Chris's fondness for Boston's "More Than a Feeling" could stem from an episode where Carl calls it the "ultimate song".
- One of Chris's random-access humor quotes was "Well, get out of here. What are you waiting on? I'm gonna chase you outta here", which was originally spoken by Meatwad in the episode "Ol' Drippy".
- In a BronyCon 2019 birthday shoutout, Chris compares the recipient to BillyWitchDoctor.com, only because they share the same first name.
- A ween claiming to be an Arabic fan of Chris's sent him a letter while he was in jail, using the alias "Shake Zula". The name is actually one of the lyrics to ATHF's theme song.
- In CLog 10042017 - Q&A NO MORE Chris unconsciously pronounces "So fucking" as "Sofa King." Akin to a joke in the BillyWitchDoctor.com episode.
