On the 27th of March, 2023, Chris was released from custody with the only explanation being "released by court order", thus beginning The Chase for CWC.
Spotted
On 1 May 2023, Chris was spotted at a Walmart in Midlothian, VA, a suburb west of Richmond located in Chesterfield County, where he also attended high school over 25 years prior.
On the same day, a Reddit user posted a thread with a photo of Chris, claiming that a friend had sent the picture.[1] On Twitter, more photos were posted.[2] In the photos, Chris' hair has returned to its natural brown colour, and he also appears much thinner, congruent with his last mugshot. He also has his medallion back.
Another Reddit user, Alternative_Roof1940, subsequently posted photos of Chris from the security cameras at the Walmart.[3]
