Chris and art

Chris's first known drawing. Considering how he draws now, this is probably as bad as he can get.
Chris's more recent styling. Notices the fail in it?

Art has, and always will be, Chris's selling point. From the very day "Jason Kendrick Howell" found out about Chris and his creation of Sonichu to today, many people have been drawn to Chris because of his infamous work (and stay because of what else he's done). To this day, many people wish to see more of it and will go to extreme measures to get him to work more.

Over the years, Chris's work has changed from various styles, but things still remain the same: they're unproportional, child-like, unimaginative and HILARIOUS. GodJesus bless his little autistic heart.

Chris and the Medium

Since Chris first started drawing, his artwork has always been laughably abysmal. While it may have improved since the day he first drew Sonic the Hedgehog, there's still tons of room for improvement. Sad to say, Chris refuses to improve, thinking that what he's doing now is the shit and refuses to change any other way.

When Chris started drawing, he had a realistic, though cartoon-like, way of drawing. This can be seen by the more rounded eyes and jagged, angle-ish nose, as well as the more rounded heads. Things changed as Chris got into anime and manga and sought to emulate that, all to impress his at-the-time latest gal-pal, Megan Schroeder. This can easily be seen with all the various nuances that come with that style - large, u-shaped eyes, sweatdrops, vein bulges, lines-as-blushing and, of course, panty shots. Though, granted, that's not ALL to the manga-style, but, that's what it is to Chris.

Despite all this, Chris has shown very little interest in proportion or, hell, even basic anatomy! Even though the manga-style tends to have a bit of an artistic license for drawing people, they tend to be drawn the same way - human! From drawing to drawing, how Chris draws himself, his characters, or even his background characters differ from one to the next. One leg could be drawn bigger than the other, arms usually spaghetti-like and not reaching past the waist, limbs bending unnaturally, heads inflating from one size to the next, characters shrinking and growing from panel to panel. And that's just the MAJOR characters. Those in the background or minor villains don't even get that - they're more like how some young girls tend to draw people - stilted and nearly Weeble-like! One could blame him drawing around the panels of his comic instead of trying to draw outside them, but, then again...

An interesting thing to note is that, with the exception of Rosechu, Zapina, and Simonla, every female in his drawings wears high-heel shoes! This may be because of Chris' TV upbringing where it seems (to him, at least) that every older female always seem to be wearing high-heel shoes (like Family Guy's Lois Griffin) where the younger ones can get away with wearing tennis shoes, but even still, he needs to realize that not every female wears high-heels all the time!

Even more so is that he colors with Crayola Magic Markers. Despite having a type of editor that can slap his type onto his pages, Chris doesn't have the patience to sit there and color his pages and prefers to use his markers to color his artwork

Originality

He has none. Let's leave it at that.

Plagiarism and Stealing

From the day Chris drew his Homemade Nintendo Power magazine, it's easy to see that Chris copies what he sees. This easily started with his drawings of Sonic, Mega Man X and the like on there, but it really spiraled out of control with the creation of Sonichu and Rosechu. It's easy to see that, whenever Chris needs an awesome pose or something for a character, he'll usually fall back on what he's seen. This usually means that he'll take a piece of artwork and change it to his own needs.

Even more so, Chris isn't above stealing and even altering others' work just to make it his own. When Chris lost Blanca to the Man in the Pickle Suit, he took her creation, Jiggliami, and claimed it as his own. When Evan created his joke fan character Simonchu, Chris took it, slapped a pair of breasts and a china on it and renamed her Simonla. Most likely, he also took Layla, Ivy's fan-made character, for his own after she left him.

Rule 34

As Chris has no shame, neither does his pictures. Many of Chris's drawings have been hentai-ish in design and has caused quite a stir with many people. Of these pictures, the most damning one of all is the infamous ShecameforCWC.jpg, which brought an end to the Megan Saga and cemented the notion that Chris was an incestuous pedofork. It's these artworks that provoked him to up the age on all of his Sonichus and Rosechus so they can be true, loving couples without any of that messy pedofork undertones.

Still doesn't work, as one of his recent pieces of art ended up getting him tossed out of DeviantArt (Again).
