Family Guy
While very likely unintentional, since it is highly doubtful that Seth MacFarlane knows of Chris's existence, there are a few instances of similarity from Chris's work with Family Guy.
The first few minutes of "Road to Germany", when Mort Goldman looks desperately for a bathroom, only to accidentally go into Stewie's new time machine, is strikingly similar to the Ghostbusters skitch.[1]
Likewise, many trolls noticed how uncanny Peter Griffin in the episode "Three Kings" was wearing a shirt very similar to one of Chris's trademark shirts. However, the shirt was originally featured in the 1986 film, Stand by Me, on which this segment of "Three Kings" was based.[2]
In the episode "Family Goy", Peter falls in love with a cardboard cutout of Kathy Ireland and later has sex with said cutout.
"Peter's Daughter" features a plot centered around the characters making a conscious effort to treat Meg better (a point of contention Chris has always had with the series). This seems mostly coincidence, except for a sequence where Peter performs as a male stripper dressed like a police officer. His stripper name? ... "Officer Nasty".
"Halloween on Spooner Street" began with Chris Griffin showing off his Bill Cosby outfit in blackface. Lois scolds him for the racially charged implications, which Chris fails to understand. She then demands he change into the Indian chief costume she bought him.
Dead Rising 2
In the Here Comes the Groom mission the player encounters probably one of the creepiest psychopaths in this game: Randall "Randy" Tugman. A pink-chainsaw-wielding, fetish-costume-wearing maniac, he forces his father, the owner of the Swept Away Wedding Chapel, to marry him to his unwilling hostage, a survivor woman called Danni Bodine. But how is this swell guy relevant to Chris-Chan? Let's see:
Similarities
- Randy's notebook description calls him "a socially awkward virgin and internet sex addict who is using the outbreak as a chance to get "married" to any unfortunate women he can find". No comment.
- Randy is obese, and his facial features resemble Chris's.
- Randy doesn't like his actual name "Randall", insisting that his father call him "Randy". This may be a reference to Chris's name change, as well as an allusion to the childishness of the character.
- Randy doesn't want to just rape his victims, he wants to be officially married to them.
- Randy's wearing a furry-related fetish costume to his "wedding". Chris is also known for wearing outlandish outfits and furry-related accessories in public places (and even to his hypothetical wedding!).
- Amusingly, the game predates Chris actually donning a badly made furry outfit to please his "sweetheart". This just proves that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.
- Randy wears a two metal rings on a chain around his neck, which may be a nod to the Medallion of Fail.
- There are some other possible similarities to the Wedding Comic: The preacher is a middle-aged man with a brown stubble, and the bride wears a short wedding dress.
- Randy accidentally kills his father, and then proceeds to blame it on the main character.
- Randy "moves on" from the death of his previous "bride" quite quickly, and proceeds to tell the horrified Danni "Don't worry honey... the other ones didn't mean anything to me."
- Randy's dad is a sane man, but is unable to control him.
Summary
All in all, Randy Tugman looks like a horrifying amalgam of Chris-Chan and Piggsy, a chainsaw-wielding maniac from Manhunt. Or is he? You be the judge. As of now, it's unknown whether Chris himself played Dead Rising 2.
