Mario Kart 64 Lego Raceway is a video series from Chris's "I'm on TV" DVD. It was filmed using a Game Boy Camera in 1998, when Chris was still in Manchester High School.
The Game Boy Camera is a bulky Game Boy game with a camera attached to the top of it you could place into your Game Boy and use to take grainy black and white pictures. Afterward, these pictures could be played with or edited in various ways; you could draw on them, make them sprites in a handful of minigames, or string them together to make an animation, like Chris did. Using the camera and his legos, Chris made a stop motion animation of the cars racing around CWCville, firing shells (or in this case, Star and Circle shapes) at each other set to some appropriate music.
However, the Game Boy Camera could only hold 30 pictures at a time. That isn't nearly enough for even half a lap, so what Chris had to do was take the 30 pictures, edit them appropriately, string them together into an animation, record the animation, and then repeat the process over and over. To make the sudden starting and stopping seem more "natural", Chris put a second of static at the end of each set of pictures. This didn't do anything to change the fact that the 20 second song Chris used for his animation got more and more grating as it restarted again and again.
In the actual race videos, it's near impossible to tell what's going on, since most of the racers look exactly the same in poor-quality black and white pictures. However, what is very easy to tell is that Chris was perhaps even more of a god-moder in his younger days than he is now, perhaps only now eclipsing his past self with his actions in Sonichu 10. In both races Chris takes place in, he takes an early lead and isn't threatened in the slightest by the other racers; in fact, in his second race, he has enough time to battle Darth Vader, become a Power Ranger, and then shove Vader into an abyss before changing back, hopping on his cart, and finishing the race in first place.
He also spends some time in-between races describing his Power Rangers team, mostly made up of him, Cole Smithey, and various Gal-Pals and video game characters, such as Mario and Mega Man. He also spends almost a minute (and several takes worth of animation) showing several karts link up into the KART MEGAZORD, a powerful weapon never seen by the public eye until Sonichu 9, and even then it hasn't really done anything yet.
In short, Mario Kart 64 Lego Raceway was a fairly good indicator of the path Chris would start down only two years later, when he first came up with the idea for Sonichu.
