- 20 August - Otaku King, the person behind the August Walmart Sighting, releases a video describing the conversation he had with Chris, along with his desire to mentor him.
- 19 August - Chris's activity on Twitter skyrockets as he likes seventeen tweets in one day. Most of them are tweets about a romance book series called "The Jane Austen Series", along with a meme about missing out on "teen love".
- 18 August - On Twitter Chris likes more tweets.
- 17 August - On Twitter, Chris likes four more tweets with one of them being a comic about My Little Pony characters looking at each other's asses.
- 16 August - On Twitter, Chris likes two tweets about My Little Pony and GFuel. Hours later, he likes several more, including fanart by Helena Fiorenza about him being back online.
- 12 August - Chris's PlayStation profile description is changed to say "I'm Christ Chan Prime" . That same day a screenshot of Chris leaving a PlayStation chat was posted to r/ChrisChanSonichu.

- A small update is made to Chris's case file, noting that the defense had entered unspecified exhibits on 8 August.
- Chris's friend settings for his Pokemon GO account and Nintendo Switch reportedly change, leaving some users unable to view his accounts.
- Part 9 of The Lainchu Manifesto is posted, covering events and chats from July 2021 to August 2021, including Anaxis's DMs with Chris and The WCT, and chats in The Knights of CWC and Regarding Chris.

These usage notes will not be included in articles bearing this template.
This template sits in a place of pride on the CWCki Main Page. It is two lists of recent Chris-related activity, one for current updates, and another for newly added information. To prevent the lists becoming too long, older entries should be removed as newer ones are added; no more than seven entries should appear in each of the lists at any time.
To add new updates to the list, simply edit this template, and place a brief description of what happened at the top of bulleted list. Please also link to a source, and set it in boldface, so viewers can know where to read further. Entries should also be documented on the current month article. Try to phrase things differently instead of always beginning entries with Chris does X; it can get monotonous. Document the next milestone in Chris's legal proceedings (or when he is to be released from prison, should it come to this) in place of an Ongoing event.
