The Hedgehog Boys

Christian & the Hedgehog Boys is the name Chris gave to his horrible "band" project, though, in reality, there is no band. Instead the project involves Chris shouting awful lyrics about his shitty life over copyrighted pop/rock music.

The boys in the band

The Beatles edition

The gap between albums speaks volumes about the internal problems the band has faced, including drug abuse, unwanted pregnancies, regicide and general debauchery.

In the 2009 incarnation of the band, Sonic and Shadow were gone, replaced by Wild (on bass) and Punchy (on drums), after Sonic left the band to pursue a solo country career, while Shadow was fired for smoking tobacky and later presumably died of cocaine abuse, but nobody knew the difference, since it's impossible to tell him apart from Blake anyway. Layla Flaaffy also joined. She has two roles: stand on stage and do nothing (like Andrew Fletcher of Depeche Mode) and make sure that the rest of the band stays straight during tours.

Albums

First album cover
Second album

To date, they have released two albums:

Release date: 2006
Chart position: #1, Molvanîa Pop Charts
Release date: 2009
Chart position: N/A

Singles

Christian & the Hedgehog Boys have released standalone singles over YouTube for "It's All Coming Back To Me" and "Holding Out For A Hero" that feature unique combinations of live-action, comic drawings and shit. The lyrics of "Revive Zordon" appear in Sonichu #10, but a musical version has yet to appear.

Future

In recent months, the Hedgehog Boys have been dealing with behind the scenes turmoil, mostly in relation to Wild's weak basslines, Punchy's increasingly erratic timekeeping and Chris just sitting there struggling to breathe. Fans cite the recent tour of Molvanîa as a particular low as the band frequently delved into unpopular jazz fusion versions of the hits. The tour finally ended in farce when Punchy got out from behind the kit to punch Sonichu in the face after he forgot a vital key change. And Chris was arrested on charges of public masturbating and consumption of said masturbation.

In response to the problems, the Hedgehog Boys dumped themselves from their own record label, and are currently looking for a new one. The band reunited briefly in Sonichu #10, despite continuing strife between the members and Chris's growing gigantism of the legs.
