2014 has been quite the rough year for Chris. Starting off like previous years, not much had happened, nor really expected, until a coffee maker in the lower bathroom of the Chandler household had started an electrical fire; thus, burning down most of the property. Chris, his mother, and a few remaining pets managed to escape, but were left in a temporary home for the time being. Things went quiet for the few months that followed the inferno, until Chris had once again become active that summer, when he began petitioning off and bidding original artwork on eBay, Craigslist, and other auctioning sites. With mixed results, it seemed Chris may have been recovering, both financially and in his self-entitled career.
Unfortunately, it didn't last long, as by late summer/early fall, Chris had apparently found himself a new sweetheart, who was expected to be yet another fabricated lover. This speculation was met by even more false hope, in the form of "I Love You, Catherine", Chris's first video of 2014, addressed to (yet again) a new relationship he had apparently been in. It was later proven in November that 'Catherine' was in fact a troll persona (yet the anonymous sweetheart still remains a mystery), misleading Chris into a gradual bout of depression; also known as weening, a practice which has been highly frowned upon by the community. Also, any hope of happiness he had when his Facebook friends helped him make a new website was drowned in tobacky once it received immediate DDoS attacks from weens, got complaints over its name of "Spergweb", and began spewing 404 errors.
With only a month left in the year, it appears to be that this is Chris's lowest point yet. And while his egotism still shined through a bit, such as with his irrational boycott of Sonic Boom, many have come to simply pity Chris for everything that's gone on in his life. It seemed that one happy moment was going to come this year, when Chris announced in December 2014 that he was moving back to a newly-renovated 14 Branchland Court. That all changed, however, when the twenty-sixth came by and a Tumblr user caught a video of Chris walking into a GameStop he was banned from, and macing an employee on the way out. Any ounce of pity points he had from the trolls and even his white knights were completely gone by that point, not to mention the fact that he was even put in jail--again. Although he eventually bailed out and went out of custody, he was still convicted of a felony and has to face another trial come February 2015--and many possibilities of what will happen if he is declared guilty, such as him losing his monthly tugboat and even his house, are still floating in the air.
