Wendy's (or "Wendys", according to Chris) is an American fast food chain that employed Chris briefly until he got his fat HFA-ass fired. Chris' job primarily consisted of custodial duties instead of preparing food. Chris claimed in his resume that he worked there from August to October 2001, but he told Kacey's father that he had already been fired before September 11, 2001.
The mysterious circumstances of his firing have never been revealed, as Chris has never given a clear or concise answer on the cause of his dismissal from Wendy's. It's been alleged that Chris helped a small child cut open a baked potato (aka jacket potato to Britfags) and/or was doing his Donald Duck impressions. In Mumble,[citation needed] Chris said that it was because he was trying to get napkins for a small child (it's unclear if this was the sole reason or he was clarifying the "fan"'s question of if he was helping a small child cut his baked potato) and on his date from 19 March 2009, when asked if his Donald Duck impersonation had scared the child (it sounds like something out of The Exorcist), he said that the child was "tired" at the time.[citation needed] In a conversation with Kacey's father Chris mentioned "emotional differences" as the reason for his termination and claimed the manager had a "spike on his shoulder" against him. At this time it is unknown what these differences were, although they were almost certainly minor differences of opinion over punctuality, performing the job duties he was hired for, and workplace dress code.
Chris was asked about his time at Wendy's several times after the date in March, and during that he brought up more information, particularly regarding his supervisor, who didn't think very highly of him for reasons upon which we can only speculate. He mentioned a time involving him getting his uniform dirty and simply continuing to wear it, not taking into account the usual sanitation standards of most fast food restaurants and also not realizing he could get another, clean shirt. Chris made many other, probably small but frequent mistakes and likely failed to actually do his job. The supervisor, allegedly, used the child incident to finally fire Chris, who wasn't actually notified in advance of his firing and came to work only to be told by his former co-workers that he wasn't supposed to be there.
If true, then it was a petty reason to fire a person, but because the firee in question is a sexist, racist, opinionated, socially retarded, homophobic, smelly freak like Chris, we can find their reasons totally rational. (Fun Fact: Dave Thomas was quite the homophobe as well)
