'Nuff said. It was introduced in Sonichu 8, when Chris drew a drinking straw of very disproportionate size while stalking women and evading Jerkops. Now, it's a fad.

Recently, in the version of the comic posted on CWCipedia, Chris has edited the Oversized Drinking Straw of Fail to look slightly less retarded (but not by much):
