All in the Family is an American sitcom involving the hijinks of a prejudiced man named Archie Bunker and his family, airing on CBS from 1971 to 1979. It is one of the many ancient sitcoms Chris (and likely his father) enjoyed.
Mentions by Chris
- Chris listed the show, along side his other interests, on his MySpace page.
- February 2009 - While doing a Jamaican impression to Clyde Cash, Chris blurted out, "if it fits Archie Bunker's shoes, then let it be!"[1]
- September 2009 - Chris compared Gregg Mays and Clyde Cash to be "about as fake and fictional" as actors merely playing characters, bringing up Archie Bunker and George Jefferson as examples (acknowledging the spinoff show The Jeffersons).[2]
- November 2010 - Lars compared Sonichu to Archie Comics, then randomly brought up Archie Bunker, but Chris didn't seem to notice or care.
- March 2018 - Chris mentioned being a fan of the actor who played George Jefferson, proving that he isn't racist.[3]
- December 2025 - Chris quoted the intro theme song of The Jeffersons in a post promoting a video.[4] He then revealed that he had watched most—if not all—of the episodes of All in the Family and The Jeffersons, as well as "a few episodes" of Archie Bunker's Place.[5]
- February 2026 - While admitting to random sins, Chris claimed that his environment in the past had made him come off as racist, mentioning the shows All in the Family, Sanford and Son, and The Boondocks.[6]
Parallels to Chris
- The plot of a season 7 episode involves an electrical fire breaking out in the bathroom during the middle of the night. It's unknown whether or not Chris has seen this particular episode.
