He also denied being previously seen at the Dallas airport, but did however admit to residing in Big Island, Virginia after some pressure.

Ever since his first trip, Chris's social media activity regularly slows down a bit while he is away in the country (see April 2024 and June 2026 social media posts for obvious examples), and a prepared backlog of prerecorded videos usually release on a schedule. Chris also avoids recording videos entirely while in Finland, and does this in an attempt to cover up his absence and make nothing seem out of the ordinary. In April 2026, after a commenter pointed this out, Chris angrily dismissed the notion, though unconvincingly, basically arguing that he isn't always in Finland when he releases a prerecorded video, and that Emgo316 also releases content on a schedule (a rather irrelevant point).[12]

In February 2026, Chris confessed to various sins in hopes of redeeming himself, one of which being that he had "Lied when I was asked about not being in certain places where I was bigfoot photographed," which he then rationalized by writing "I am not at liberty to talk about those experiences or individuals online."[13] Still, Chris refuses to talk about Finland or traveling at all, although he has now seemingly alluded to opening up about it being an uncertain possibility.

Superdry

Superdry Limited (formerly stylised as SUPERDRY®︎冒険魂) is a British clothing company, and owner of the Superdry & Co label. Since 2024, Chris sometimes wears a blue shirt or hoodie which reads "Superdry" on the front, regularly in videos or out in public. Likely unbeknownst to Chris, it serves as more circumstantial evidence that he has been to Finland, as there are actually 0 Superdry locations in Virginia. There was, however, a Superdry location at the Mall of Tripla until their lease expired in September 2025. Superdry is also widely more known and successful in Europe than in the United States. Flutter herself has also been seen wearing a very similar Superdry shirt.[14]

Trips to Finland

First Trip (Spring 2024)

In April 2024, Chris and Flutter were spotted and briefly filmed shopping at Kauppakeskus Arabia (AKA Arabia Shopping Centre) in Helsinki, although this sighting was not made public until October 2024 as the individual who spotted them was not certain that it was them. The individual stated that Chris was speaking English in the store rather than Finnish.[15]

A photo taken in April 2024 of Chris and Flutter at the Mall of Tripla in Helsinki would be made public in November 2024.[16]

On 30 April 2024, Chris and Flutter were unwittingly recorded attending the opening day of Linnanmäki (the oldest and most popular amusement park in Finland, located in Helsinki) in the background of a random YouTube user's video.[17] Over a year later in June 2025, Chris accidentally partially revealed a picture of himself at the amusement park,[18] which lead to the previously mentioned footage being found by a CWCki editor.

Chris was subsequently spotted at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on 24 May 2024,[19] wearing the same coat. Dallas Fort Worth is another major airline hub with direct flights to Helsinki, so it is likely that Chris had a layover there on his way back to Virginia.

Second Trip (Fall 2024)

On 27 September 2024, Chris was seen in Helsinki by a store employee who leaked a cropped still from the security camera to a co-worker who then posted it to the Internet.[20] Locals believe the sighting was at the Mall of Tripla, in a store called Normal.[21] The following day, Chris and Flutter were spotted walking at the Mall of Tripla, by an observer who took a brief video clip.[22] In both sightings, Chris is wearing a bright blue Superdry sweatshirt with the hood up.

A user on the Finnish imageboard ylilauta alleged having seen Chris at the Linnanmaki amusement park at some point in the summer.[23]

Chris was seen back in the United States on 1 November 2024 when he was spotted at a Wendy's in Lynchburg.[24]

Third Trip (Winter 2024)

On 17 December 2024, Chris and Flutter were seen at Redi in Kalasatama, Helsinki, Finland.[25]

Chris was not seen again after this (in any country) until 14 February 2025, when he was spotted at a pet shop in Lynchburg.

Fourth Trip (Spring 2025)

Chris and Flutter eating out. Definitely not a date.

On the night of 29 March 2025, Chris would be confirmed in the US for the last time as he had livestreamed from his home.[26] On 4 April 2025, a user on Kiwi Farms posted a photograph and details about spotting Chris on Wednesday, 2 April.[27] He was seen at the Mall of Tripla. On 17 April, Chris and Flutter were photographed eating at coffee shop Arnold's.[28] On 10 May, Chris would be confirmed to be back in the US as he had attended the Festival of Light in Lynchburg, Virginia.[29]

Fifth Trip (Summer 2025)

On 23 July 2025, Chris and Flutter were spotted in Rauma, Finland.[30] This is notable for marking the first time Chris had been known to attempt to speak Finnish in public, and the first time he had been known to go outside of Helsinki.

Chris would be confirmed back in America on 13 August 2025, as him and Flutter were spotted and recorded at a Walmart in Lynchburg.[31] However, they were also allegedly spotted by a Twitter user at a Walmart in Lynchburg almost two weeks prior on 1 August.[32][33][34]

Sixth Trip (Fall 2025)

On an unknown date in September 2025, Chris and Flutter were spotted in Finland by TikTok user kkaltsuu. The photo was not publicly shared until 29 December 2025, in the comments section of another user's post.[35]

Chris would not be spotted back in the US until 22 November 2025, when he was spotted at Target in Lynchburg.[36]

Seventh Trip (Winter 2025)

A screenshot from Chris's phone on 5 December 2025 shows the time as 18:33(6:33 PM) in it. At that moment, the local time in Virginia was 11:33 AM, which aligns with Finland's time zone rather than Virginia's. Also it shows the Finnish telecommunications company Elisa rather than Chris's usual carrier, T-Mobile. This suggests Chris was in Finland around this time.[37] Another screenshot from 12 December 2025 again showed Elisa as the carrier, this time showing 01:16(1:16 AM) in it instead of Virginia's time of 6:16 PM.[38] A screenshot from 19 December 2025 displays T-Mobile as the carrier, however, the time zone shown still aligns with Finland rather than Virginia.[39]

On 29 December 2025, TikTok user jugglieutenant posted a recording of Chris and Flutter on an escalator in the Forum Shopping Centre in Helsinki, Finland. This confirms Chris went to Finland.[40] Chris would be confirmed back in the United States by 5 January 2026 so he could livestream himself attending the live premiere of his TLUM movie on YouTube.[41]

Eighth Trip (Spring 2026)

Totally not a movie date.

On 2 May 2026, Chris announced on Cameo that he would be unavailable on the service until August 2026 (though he would return about a month earlier than he had posted). On 22 May 2026, Reddit user Master_Bookkeeper_46 posted a picture of Chris and Flutter, yet again at the Forum Shopping Centre in Helsinki, Finland.[42]

Chris's Instagram would actually be hijacked during this trip (because of a viral exploit at the time), which wouldn't be resolved until hours later since Chris was already asleep due to the 7 hour time zone difference.[43] On 5 June 2026, Chris and Flutter went to the cinema in the Mall of Tripla together to watch The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act; two photographs of them would be shared by Reddit user M3gisjonn3 the following day.[44]

Chris would be seen back in the United States at the Walmart in Madison Heights, Virginia on 1 July 2026 by Reddit user CookMedical2932, who posted two pictures five days later.[45] On 4 July, Chris returned to making Cameo videos.
