Grace Baptist Church
Grace Baptist Church (now New Hope Community Church), located in Woodbrook Shopping Center, Charlottesville,[1] was Chris's church until he was kicked out on 17 March 2008.
In September 2008, Chris claimed that "Pastor John Hartless did not like my views I've expressed in my video I did on my 25th Birthday, and he found the ED page."[2] Taking into account the fact that Chris started his "war" with ED on 16 September 2008, as well as his constant threats to use his congregation as a personal army, it's not hard to deduce that he linked Pastor H[e]artless to his ED page in the hope that he'd sic his flock on the website. However, it should be obvious to any non-manchild that this plan backfired, proving that God indeed does exist.
When publicly asked about his old church a little more than a year later, Chris claimed that the pastor "did a background check" and merely found a few images of girls in bikinis on Chris's Facebook page.[3]
Chris now attends Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, which seems to tolerate his bullshit more than Grace Baptist Church did.
