Captain's Log is Chris's approach to video blogging, published to the great amusement and mirth of YouTube viewers. They are called "Captain's Logs" due to the way Chris often begins them; why he does this so is a mystery, as we haven't so far heard what he thinks of Star Trek. In all likelihood he has just heard the term being spoofed in Family Guy or other low-brow comedies he watches.
Sometimes Chris gives an incorrect date (The date is technically always incorrect since he says "Stardate" and gives a Gregorian Calendar date), or fails to provide a date at all. The CWCki has organised the Captain's Log entries by the date they were uploaded.

The folks of CWCki have often had problems properly cataloguing Captain's Logs. This is due to several factors: Chris usually doesn't use very informative titles for his YouTube videos, and sometimes doesn't begin his vloggery with "Captain's Log, stardate...". This often leads to debate on proper titling. Another problem that plagues Chris's videos lately is that he sometimes gets the day, month or year wrong (usually not two of these at the same time, luckily). For the sake of clarity, CWCki has filed these videos according to the actual dates they were posted.
Chris has never actually seen an episode of Star Trek, and uses the "Captain's Log, stardate" format as he believes it to be a "good neutral way" of opening a video.

A Captain's Log Entry is Chris's usual opening to a video blog. It comes from popular Sci-Fi franchise Star Trek. In a typical episode, the captain, commander or other senior crew member would make an entry to log what has happened in the situation prior to the beginning of the episode. Most Star Trek Captain's Log entries are noticeably void of Tard Rage.

Sometimes Chris gives an incorrect date (The date is technically always incorrect since he says "Stardate" and gives a Gregorian Calendar date), or fails to provide a date at all. The CWCki has organised the Captain's Log entries by the date they were uploaded.

Chris has never actually seen an episode of Star Trek, and uses the "Captain's Log, stardate" format as he believes it to be a "good neutral way" of opening a video.
