"Mmm, goes down salty."
Chris, the connoisseur.

On 12 June 2009, at a local restaurant/bar, Chris broke his 27 year period of abstaining from alcohol and had a sip of Long Island Iced Tea. Chris reportedly tried the drink because he saw Marge Simpson try it in an episode of The Simpsons, and because it didn't sound like a very alcoholic drink.

Recipe

For reference, a Long Island Iced Tea contains:

  • 1 Part Vodka
  • 1 Part Tequila
  • 1 Part Rum
  • 1 Part Gin
  • 1 Part Orange Liqueur
  • 1 Part Lemon Syrup
  • A splash of Coca Cola

So yeah, not very alcoholic at all.

Chris went on record saying the drink 'Goes down salty, but it's pretty tasty'.
