Since his discovery on the Internet, there have been many sightings of Chris over the years. Chris is notably not fond of people taking Bigfoot style pictures of him.[1]

September
Walmart
On 3 or 4 September 2011, Chris was spotted and photographed at a Walmart.
2013
January
McDonald's
On 29 January 2013, Chris was spotted and photographed eating at a McDonald's.
September
On 22 September 2013, Chris was spotted and photographed.
2014
April
On 5-6 April 2014, Chris was spotted and photographed at Target by a user on Reddit
2015
February
On 5 February 2015, Chris and Barb were spotted and photographed leaving the courthouse after their hearing for the 26 December 2014 incident.
April
On 2 April 2015, Chris was spotted and photographed going to McDonald's before his hearing and then was photographed outside the Charlottesville Circuit Court.
2016
September
Toys "R" Us
On 11 September 2016, Chris was spotted and photographed at Toys "R" Us.
2018
August
On 13 August 2018, Chris was photographed, apparently unrecognized, by a fellow patient in a waiting room at a Region Ten therapy location. The other person had noticed Chris's unusual outfit with accessories usually associated with girls and posted the photo to Twitter with the comment, "Who's girl is this". Chris replied saying he wished the person had spoken to him instead of taking the photo without his knowledge.[2]
2019
April
Target
On 15 April 2019, Chris was spotted and photographed at a Target by Reddit user OMalley_The_AlleyCat. The Reddit user wrote:

Unknown date
Sometime in either 2020 or 2021, Chris was spotted and photographed. The photo itself however was not released in March 2023 shortly after Chris's release from jail. The photo was first posted as a hoax first post-jail sighting, something that would not actually happen until 1 May 2023.
