Darkbind is a sonichu. Darkbind is purple, which automatically gives him +10 gay. Add another +10 for his faggy cape, and +20 for his phallic sword. Darkbind is notable for the sheer number of things Chris ripped off to create his character. Darkbind Sonichu is definitely proof that more is not always better.
Things Darkbind rips off
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Pikachu from Pokemon
- Sonichu
- Magi-Chan (we already had a purple one, fgt)
- Darkwing Duck (The typeface for "Darkbind" is taken from the Darkwing Duck logo).
- Link from the The Legend of Zelda (The sword as well as "Bind" possibly being used as another word for "Link". Darkbind even refers to himself as "the Link that will save Princess Zelina Rosechu").
However, it can be argued that Darkbind Sonichu is simply a complete ripoff of the purple-haired, sword-wielding Future Trunks from Dragonball Z.
When Darkbind isn't wasting time helping his creator fend off mall security, he's on a quest to find the seven Sonichu Balls so he can awaken Zelina Rosechu. More so than most of the characters in the comic, he is apt to blurt out statements about balls. Which given the sheer fagginess of his character design, is that really surprising?
