According to Christian Weston Chandler, he has at least one Cherokee ancestor, about which he assuredly knows nothing, as Chris believes that the Cherokee tribe consists of white, blue-eyed individuals. This ancestor is depicted in his comics as the ancient leader of the Cherokee Clan. Befitting his status as a Native American chieftan, he is always depicted wearing a gold breastplate and the coveted Cherokian crown.
