According to Christian Weston Chandler, he has at least one Cherokee ancestor, about which he assuredly knows nothing. This ancestor is depicted in his comics as the ancient leader of the Cherokee Clan. Befitting his status as a Native American chieftan, he is always depicted wearing a gold breastplate and the coveted Cherokian crown.
The character is never given a name, forcing Christian to refer to address him as "Ancestor." According to the Anchuent Prophecy, Christian is in fact the reincarnation of this figure, which apparently explains the many dreams and visions in which the ancestor reveals new anchuent powers for Christian to use to fight mall security.
