Mitch Sonichu

Mitch Sonichu (formerly Asperchu) is a yellow Sonichu with brown highlights present on the ends of his ears and the base of his tail. He also has a soul patch and wears a lumberjack-style flannel shirt, bluejeans and sneakers. He is supposedly smarter, more confident and better-looking than his previous self.

He is the result of Ultra Sonichu granting Asperchu an EXTREME ELECTRIC MAKEOVER, as well as being freed from both his terrible malady and his neglectful creator, Alec Benson Leary.

Creation

Mitch Sonichu was created by Chris in response to Asperchu, after it began to involve Sonichu and the Chaotic Combo. Since it began to involve his own original characters, Chris felt that he should thus be able to "correct" its contents to suit his own vision

Thus, during Sonichu 10, Chris had Asperchu, as well as the Apserchu-universe Chaotic Combo, made into new characters. At the forefront was Mitch Sonichu, the character who Asperchu apparently "really" wanted to be, because cartoon characters have real feelings too.

After making these modifications, Chris stated in a blog post that, whilst he has no association to Alec or his comic, he would "forgive" Alec for his wrongdoings if he introduced his changes into the Asperchu comic. Alec declined and continued with his comic unaltered, although he would introduce a character based on Mitch Sonichu.

In Sonichu

Mitch Sonichu starts as Asperchu, whom Ultra Sonichu encounters after he enters the Asperchu universe, along with the Chaotic Combo. Asperchu and his companions are terribly neglected by their <de>benevolent malevolent creator, and have been cursed with Asperger syndrome. They plead Ultra Sonichu to help them be freed from their torment.

Ultra Sonichu, being the hero, cures them all of their affliction and provides them with new identities (after they have asked Chris to be forgiven). Asperchu, however, catches the eye of everyone; he looks entirely different, and labels himself as "Mitch Sonichu".

After this, Mitch, like most characters that Chris adds in according to events that occur around him, becomes a background character and proceeds to do very little.

Mitch Chu is Alec's modified version of Mitch Sonichu, who appears in Asperchu Issue 1. He is not a cured, madeover version of Asperchu as in Chris' alterations; rather an "old joy-boy" of Sonichu's. He is exactly the same in appearance as Mitch Sonichu, but appears to be a flamboyantly gay makeover stylist.
