Zelina Rosechu
Zelina Rosechu (born 21 August 1988[1]) is a Rosechu and yet another pathetic rip-off of Darkwing Duck and Princess Zelda from the The Legend of Zelda (as if one ripoff of two good things wasn't enough). As watered down and useless as Darkbind was, he would never have it as bad (or will be as bad) as his designated love interest.
History
Princess Zelina first appears in a flashback in Sonichu #6, when Darkbind worries that his quest to save her may be put on hold. The two lived in the land of RuleCWC, where she presumably reigned as princess, until the evil Clawdorf unleashed the power of the Sonichu Balls from an ancient tablet. In the process, Clawdorf cursed "eternal sleep over our princess", and "it" backfired on him, transmuting the wizard into stone.
On top of all that, Darkbind was just about to propose to Zelina when she succumbed to the curse. Sheesh.
After raping Zelina in her sleep several times, Darkbind set out to find the seven Sonichu Balls, which he somehow decided could awaken Zelina and break the curse. He eventually found two, but later learned that the Sonichu Balls would also be needed to free Crystal from the Dark Mirror Hole.
In Sonichu #10, Zelina is awakened by Ultra Sonichu. She and Darkbind share a loving embrace while Sonichu heads off to Minnesota.
It should be noted that Zelina's entire reaction to discovering that she had been in a coma for ten years was to say "aww".
"Inspirations"
Assuming a perfect alignment with the characters Darkbind plagiarizes, Zelina would be a rip-off of the following:
- Amy Rose
- Raichu
- Princess Zelda
- Morgana Macawber (Darkwing Duck's girlfriend)
Additionally, Zelina looks exactly like Crystalina Rosechu with different clothes and name, which goes to show how quickly Chris ran out of variations on Amy Rose with a Raichu tail and was forced to rip off one of his own characters.
More likely than not, her storyline is also ripped off from the NES game Zelda II: The Adventure of Link in the fact that she is cursed by a wizard (Who dies in the process of curse infliction) with eternal sleep, prompting a quest for an artifact (Which in the case of the original game was the Triforce of Courage) that would provide the power to undo the curse. Given Chris's writing and notorious lack of originality, this is most likely the case.
