Mitch Sonichu (formerly Asperchu) is a yellow Sonichu with brown highlights and the ends of his ears and the base of his tail. He also has a soul patch and wears a lumberjack-style flannel shirt, bluejeans and sneakers. He is supposedly smarter, more confident and better-looking than his previous self.

He is the result of Ultra Sonichu granting Asperchu an EXTREME ELECTRIC MAKEOVER, as well as being freed from both his terrible malady and his neglectful creator, Alec Benson Leary.

Creation

Mitch Sonichu was created by Chris in response to Asperchu, after it began to involve Sonichu and the Chaotic Combo. Chris hated the comic as he felt it was badly made, misrepresented several of his characters and was a poor ripoff of Sonichu.

Naturally, Chris felt that, as he considered Asperchu a parody of his own work, he should be able to alter its contents as he pleased in order to suit his own vision. Thus, during Sonichu 10, Chris had Ultra Sonichu cure Asperchu and the Asperchu-universe Chaotic Combo of their Asperger syndrome (despite Alec only ever confirming that Asperchu had Asperger's), and subsequently give them new looks and names. Of course, this was only granted after they all prayed for forgiveness from the Great Director Chandler.

After making these modifications, Chris stated in a blog post that, whilst he has no association to Alec or his comic, he would "forgive" Alec for his wrongdoings if he introduced his changes into the Asperchu comic. Alec declined and continued with his comic unaltered, although he would introduce a character based on Mitch Sonichu.

Mitch Chu is Alec's modified version of Mitch Sonichu, who appears in Asperchu Issue 1. He is not a cured, madeover version of Asperchu as in Chris' alterations; rather an "old joy-boy" of Sonichu's. He is exactly the same in appearance as Mitch Sonichu, but appears to be a flamboyantly gay makeover stylist.
