Jesus Christ was a religious figure, believed by Christianity to be the son of God. Chris, through the years, has shifted from claiming to have support from Jesus, to being a fellow ally deity of his,[1] to being possessed by his soul.
Early Beliefs
Chris’s early beliefs centered on a traditional Christian faith, where he accepted Jesus Christ as the son of God and mankind’s savior. He frequently mentioned “God and Jesus” together, treating them as a singular divine force or a "Binity". He believed Jesus had a personal interest in his life, often interpreting dreams and visions as divine messages.
Later Beliefs
Chris later came to believe he was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ after reading the Bible during his incarceration, conflating himself with divine authority. He founded a personal faith called Neo Spiritual Christianity, blending elements of mainstream Christianity, New Age mysticism, and his classic self‑aggrandizing narcissism. In this belief system, he not only demanded worship but also imagined he could persuade half of the world’s population to join his personal cult.
In the comic
In Sonichu 9, Ivy is paired up with a character named George in dating education class but shows no interest due to her and Chris having the same dream, where GodJesus show up in the sky and explain that the two of them are meant to be together, even though at this point, they had never met in real life.
