Joe Biden is an American politician, initially being the youngest person elected to the senate before going on to become the Vice President of Barack Obama and eventually becoming the President-Elect after defeating Donald Trump in the 2020 election. He is due to be the 46th American president on 21 January 2021 instead of Lisa Simpson, who Chris voted for and believes will become POTUS after the Dimensional Merge occurs.

Vice-Presidency

When asked what he thought about Biden in 2009, Chris said "Joe is doing what he can."[1]

In 2017, Chris posted "Yes! Go, Joe!" when commenting on a post about Biden's career.[2]

2020 election

Right on! I say No to Drumpftastic infinity squared.
Chris, giving support to the Biden/Harris campaign in response to Jason Alexander's endorsement.[3]
For a time, Chris was part of the Yang Gang.

By the time he encountered the Idea Guys, Chris had shifted his focus from being invested in following LGBT+ groups to being invested in his imaginary world. Without the influence from LGBT groups, Chris seemed to have left his hatred of Trump and his interest in politics behind, preferring to occupy himself with his polyamorous marriages and alternate dimensions. Nonethelss, Chris vocalized his support for Andrew Yang in October 2019, during the lead-up to the Democratic Party primaries to select a nominee for President. Conversely, he practically ignored any and all news concerning Trump's impeachment in December 2019 and the months that followed, which demonstrated Chris's comparative lack of interest in politics at this point in time. After all, the impeachment process would have been the earliest point that he could have been removed in office besides January 2021, presuming that he lost his 2020 re-election bid (which he eventually did).

However, Chris did become more engaged with politics much closer to the 2020 election, starting around the time that news that Donald Trump contracted COVID-19 got out. Taking to social media during October 2020, he replied to Ben Saint to dispel his claims that Chris was responsible for Trump's ailment; Chris also took a moment to proclaim that COVID-19 would not be the cause Trump's demise, but that his end will come by other means, as his death is foretold as part of Chris's own Dimensional Merge prophecies. He then vocalized support for Democratic Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a few days later, after their respective debates against Donald Trump and Mike Pence, ensuring that they received the critical Sonichu vote in the election. Chris also appreciated the schadenfreude of someone reportedly hacking into Trump's Twitter account after it was reported to have very minimal security protection.

True to Chris's prophecy, Trump appears to have recovered from his infection since being diagnosed with COVID-19. That being said, whether or not that will last is in question due to the amount of drugs that he's being filled with to suppress the symptoms, along with other factors like his age, obesity, history of substance abuse, and unwillingness to rest in favor of going back on the campaign trail affecting his body's ability to fight off the infection, particularly since this strain of the Coronavirus has often come and gone in waves in patients who are faced with serious symptoms.

It should also be noted that Chris actually believes that Lisa Simpson will become POTUS after the Dimensional Merge takes place[4] regardless of how the 2020 election plays out. This belief presumably takes its influence from "Bart to the Future", the episode of The Simpsons set years in the future in which Lisa succeeds Donald Trump's fictional administration, which substantially increased the national debt before she took office. Amusingly, Kamala Harris has been compared to Lisa Simpson (along with her mother, Marge) by her political opponents. However, the events of "Bart to the Future" are not predictive, despite numerous viral videos promoting such misconception. Donald Trump considered running for the job in 1999, one year before the episode aired, and the first of the six bankruptcies to affect his businesses occurred in 1991.[5]

The actual election arrived on November 3, after weeks of early voting: the winner was unusually not declared overnight, due to a combination of high voter turnout and a large increase of postal votes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.[6] Despite Chris’s opposition to Trump, and the uncertainty of the election, he tweeted that he would vote for Lisa Simpson, likely due to his belief that she would lead the nation after the Merge.[7] Provisional results indicate that Chris may be one of only two write-in voters in Ruckersville. There's an outside chance that he somehow convinced Barb to vote for Lisa as well.[8]

Regardless of whether or not Chris really wasted his vote on Lisa Simpson, Biden easily won Virginia later that night by nearly ten points, with the next few days of news reporting revolving around who won the states of Alaska, Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, a handful of which would determine the victor of the Electoral College and therefore the Presidency. From November 4 onward, Biden won Wisconsin and Michigan and had substantive leads in Nevada and Arizona, while absentee ballots being counted indicated that he could win in Georgia and Pennsylvania as well; therefore, he was deemed likely to win the national election after all ballots are returned, ensuring that Trump is a one-term POTUS in spite of the latter's preemptive declaration of victory. (Eventually, Biden would overtake Trump in Georgia and Pennsylvania alike while retaining his leads in Nevada and Arizona, getting more than enough electoral votes than the 270 minimum needed to become POTUS.) Chris has yet to address the events of the election, aside from commenting "Yup." on a video where Senator Bernie Sanders explained to Jimmy Fallon that it would take days to count the ballots in some states.

On November 7, the election was finally called for Joe Biden. Per the transition process, Donald Trump will have to leave the White House on January 20, 2021.
