@commodoreofficial.bsky.social I was wondering, if I speed up the C64 to say 64 MHz, it seems the 1541 emulation is not sped up, but instead the whole machine falls back to the original speed when accessing the disk. Is that intentional? Will that change? Thanks

A quick response from the team - That's 100% intentional. The 1541 is a separate device (even though it's in the same box) and it always operates at 1MHz. This is because the timing between the disk drive and the computer must operate at 1Mhz for basically any software to work properly.

This is quite true. The original 1541 can be slow on loading times compared to the later models or even present tense processing speeds, it is still reliable. And that is reflected in the programming of the 1541 processor setting of the C64 Ultimate. I speak from personal experience.

Hey, @NintendoAmerica, I have a question about the Virtual Cards I feel a lot of other individuals can appreciate. I end up sometimes with the physical copy after buying the digital, and I have the DLC for that game. [posts gif of Nintendo Switch]

So, my question is this, why is it not set up where I can only install the DLC and not the Digital game when I have the Physical? Maybe consider that in the next update, @NintendoAmerica. ⚡️💙⚡️
