As one year of jail time is the maximum sentence for a misdemeanor incest charge in Virginia, Chris should be released from jail no later than this date... unless his charge is upgraded to a felony, in which case he may spend multiple years in prison, and be placed on the sex offender registry if/when he ever gets out. However, if Chris is deemed too incompetent to stand trial, as many people have suspected after his transfer, he could spend an indefinite amount of days incarcerated; presumably in a happy home.
